No Brake Lights

Hey Everyone, I'm new here but I know this is the place to find some answers. My Blazer's brake lights just suddenly quit working a couple of months ago and I can't seem to figure out the problem. Checked the bulbs they're fine, fuses are fine, blinkers work fine, even changed out the brake light switch and nothing different. Are there any relays that I don't know about? I'm very confused. Also, is the brake light switch supposed to attach to anything other than the brake pedal arm? It seems like it should stay stationary while the pedal moves. thanks!

What year vehicle do you have? Does your high mount brake light work? Recheck all of you fuses. My first guess is that if you have a 95 or newer, the multifunction switch might be bad. There is a relay under the hood also on second gens.

Re: No Brake Lights

Sorry, I have a '96 Blazer. No, none of my brake lights work including the high mount brake light. This is just one of many problems I'm having but right now this is the one that could get me a ticket if I can't get it fixed soon. What is the multifunction switch? I rechecked all the fuses last night, they're all still good.

Yes, they work, I do have a broken hazard switch that I need to replace, This wouldn't keep the brake lights from working would it? I figured if the turn signals worked, the brake lights should work fine unless there was something else going on. As I said before, even the high mount light isn't working.

Hmm, guess I should've checked into that. I'll get a new switch and see if that works. Thanks.
