Re: led light bulb comparison
I don't know if it's been covered already but does anyone know the size of the bulbs mounted in/under the rear view mirror? this is for an 03 S10.
I was actually gonna put in an order tonight for almost all my interior lights execpt the gauge cluster but I realized i had lights in my mirror. Any help is greatly appreciated. Awesome thread btw |

Re: led light bulb comparison
it depends... there are the 211's or the 194's, you'll have to look

^^ in the dome, I used just one. And the 360degree 194 in the footwells. I forgot to add that I did my kp gauges too with the same ones I used in my rear view mirror lights and my footwells. |

Re: led light bulb comparison
ill see if i remember to take pics tomorrow!
BTW I tried installing the LED bulbs i purchased and they sent me the wrong ones...I ordered the 5 led and the sent me the high output leds that I believe Brian used for the tag... This is what i ordered, http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...-p4481039.html This is what they sent me, http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/C...-p4481133.html do you think i should call them up? will it make a difference in the look? i also tried to fit this in the tag light in my 03 s10 and it didn't fit...it seemed to deep to fit in it...it hit the plastic cover. what should i do?? |

Re: led light bulb comparison
What bulbs would you use for the dash cluster? Anyone know how many lights that would be needed to change the dash lights on a 97 jimmy?
Also what about the 4x4 lights (2wd, 4wd high and 4wd low) And what bulbs would be need to change the tails of a 97 jimmy? Should I got with white leds or red for the tails? |

Re: led light bulb comparison
Brian, Do you think these will work on the side markers in the front of a 03 s10
http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/P...35710-1-2.html I didnt find the ones that u used on page 2 that only had one row firing around the side. Also in my 03 the tag light has the plastic housing that emits the light from the top, and the heat bulb didn't fit...i haven't seen if you tested that bulb on that particular housing. What other bulb do you recommend for that application? A 360 led? Also which 194 bulbs do you recommend for the a/c controls and do you need any sockets like the gauges? |

Re: led light bulb comparison
^
They might be too long and will hit the headlight housing. If you have the extra cash, go for it and try it. Or you can physically measure from where it screws in to the headlight housing. |

Re: led light bulb comparison
I cant find my damn camera charger, but which leds should i get for for my map lights? Its a 98 and I need red. Should they just point down or should i get 360 degree, I used v-leds for everything else and I was REALLY happy with the quality, prices, and service.

Re: led light bulb comparison
Here are the pics of my lights. For some reason v-leds sent me 2 of the same packages but I don't think they charged me for it. So I put the extra 360 blue leds in the signal lights and put the extra dome in my dad's mustang. I gave the tag bulbs to my friend who has a 02 blazer. These pics are with the map bulbs out they are a lot brighter in person PICS:
