Re: led light bulb comparison

Do you have any pics of them in your dome light, I was thinking of placing them in there and just placing a few beads of hot glue around the edges to keep it from moving in the housing.

Re: led light bulb comparison

It's not the bulbs that get hot, it's the resistors... I noticed my two 48 LED panels were quite warm when I took out my headliner...

Re: led light bulb comparison

This is the correct wiring for it, that attaches the board to the light bulb adapter.

Re: led light bulb comparison

the bare wire is probably there so you can "mold" the other wires where you need them to go, it looks like itisnt connected to anything on the board. i wouldnt do anything with it

I have the same question.

Also, do these LED bulbs just pop into place where the normal bulb went or do you need to make those things the other people made?

After reading more dilligently, apparently you need 6 total bulbs for 98+ clusters. Also, you need a socked of some sort to convert. I am still not sure if this is for all models.

*just in case you are wondering why I quoted myself it is because someone later may ask the same question I did. I did a little research and found an answer (or sorts)...

Plus, I couldn't edit the post.

I have been following this thread since it started and now I want to place an order but I can't find the white 48 led circuit boards or the white 6 led circuit boards with the velcro backing listed on the site. I hope they are just out and not discontinued.
