Re: gauge cluster bulbs????

the bulbs are 194.
http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f26/co...how-to-170454/
use these ones off http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html
WLED-x LED Wedge Base Bulbs
or
WLED-x5 LED Wedge Base Bulbs

i used the first ones and they give you better light coverage without a huge bright spot on some spots.
you need 5 if you dont have a tach. 6 if you have a tach

Re: gauge cluster bulbs????

nail polish remover...and a q-tip. just remember when you take the needles off you remember where they where so you can put em back right!
the paint is only on the back....and the needles light up the color of the lights of the gauges...so blue=blue, red=red, ext.

Yep. But don't let the whole needles soak in the nail polish remover or else the whole needle gets soft and you take the chance of misshaping it or messing up the clearness.

Re: gauge cluster bulbs????

I going to get Ultra Violet blacklight for my interior lights, and get purple leds for the dash cluster, I haven't seen anyone else use purple. just blue, green, red, and the super and cool white.

going to start with the interior lights, those are quick and easy and quickly reversed in case the black lights mess with my head.
