Electrical Help Needed!!!!!

Hey guys, I need some help. I'm working on correcting the wiring problems left in my truck by the previous owner, and in doing so, I seem to have pulled the pink ignition wire out of the harness mounted to the top of the steering column. It's actually 2 pink wires that are spliced into one connector that plugs into a spot on the harness connector under the dash.

Does anyone have pictures of this connector, or a wiring diagram for under the dash/cab wiring harness? The truck is a 1994 Sonoma 4.3 Vortec (W) 4x4 Auto Ext. Cab.

I'm just trying to figure out which position the pink ignition wire plugs into in the harness connector under the dash. . . I would go with the "Trial and Error" mentality to try to figure this out, but I don't feel like destroying anything. . .

Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Alright, ignore all that. I figured it out. . .

New problem. . .

When I'm driving down the road, the "Gauges" fuse will blow, causing the gauges to stop working, the transmission to shift into 3rd gear and not shift into any other gear up or down besides Reverse. I'm working on a couple of different possibilities, but right now, I'm getting sick of going through 4 fuses a mile just to keep going. . . Just started today, seems to have been sparked by shifting the pushbutton 4wd into 4LO earlier this afternoon.

A useful trick I've found to be pretty handy when trying to diagnose an intermittent short is to wire in a regular sealed-beam headlight in place of the fuse. If everything is OK the current will pass through the bulb and allow the circuit to work. If something shorts out, the bulb simply lights up. This will allow you to wiggle wires around or whatever without going through all kinds of fuses - when the bulb lights up, you've found the problem.

Wow. . . I've never heard of that before! I'll have to give it a try!

A friend and I have been racking our brains, and the best we can come up with is that the 4WD module is shorting out, because the 4WD pushbutton selector lights go off when the gauges stop working. . . I'll give it a shot!
