Damn gremlins

Damn gremlins got me right now.

I got a 2001 S10 (bagged) and the ****in fuse for the parking lamps keeps popping WITHOUT the lights being cut on. With the lights OFF and the truck OFF it pops as soon as I put the fuse in. I was thinking its grounding out somewheres between the fuse block and the switch? I havent messed with anything recently.

It just started doing this last week and I really havent had time to tear into it. Any suggestions?

Re: Damn gremlins

Looks like it may be in the fuse block? If I bypass the fuse block by putting direct power to the wire coming out of the fuse block to the light switch (with a fuse in the test wire of course) it works and doesnt pop the fuse in the test wire. Odd I think.

Basic MS Paint diagram LOL

Re: Damn gremlins

Or not. I go out side to try it again and this time it pops the fuse. I am about to say **** it and rewire the whole thing.
