I have a 2002 s-10 blazer. How do you remove the upper cover?

Re: Broken Hazard Switch Repair How-to!

holy crap guys, thanks for this how to. I just bought myself an s10 and upon driving AN HOUR to get there to look at it, the kid tells me as I get in to test drive that the signals don't work because he broke the hazard button off. So awesome, I'm figuring I have to do the entire freaking assembly. Now that I found this, I am ready to spend the two minutes simply replacing my hazard button. Yay!!!

Now i can buy this part and fix it so it doesn't stay ghetto rigged! LOL

grab the tilt lever and pull it strait to the left, it will just pop out, and the wheel doesnt have to come off to replace the switch

go buy the hazard switch only, there is something up with the parts look up and its not the guys at the desks fault. i did some work at a chevy dealer for a couple months and had him look it up for me, he told me the same thing.

just give them the part # and buy the hazard switch. it will work
