Brake light issue... 97 Blazer Need diagrams
So, my 97 Beater blazer is having an interesting brake light issue... The third brake light works like a champ, the other two only work at certain distances of pressing in the brake pedal... The lights work when the pedal is barely pressed and pressed to the floor but not in between. This leads me to believe the brake switch is bad BUT only if there are two output leads on the brake switch.
Can someone get me a diagram of the brake switch, the wiring from the brake switch to the turn stalk and the wiring to the rear tails? Thanks - Mike |

Re: Brake light issue... 97 Blazer Need diagrams
NM, i went to change the brake switch(8.99 from pepboys) and upon removing the original noticed the white wire from the switch harness was pulled out of the crimped connector.. i removed the connector from the harness, fixed it and then plugged the new brake switch back in and wala brakes lights are working fine again!
