im building a headlight wire upgrade harness for a friend and this will simplify connecting both headlight wires to the same relay, i will also use them for the quad beam mod to have a separate connector for the diode if for some reason i hook it up backwards or he no longer wants the quadbeam the diode can be removed.

i can literally think of a thousand places i can use these little buggers

Re: Anyone know where to get these connectors?

Never seen those before, but they would be good for conectting wires to a relay if one would need to be removed at anytime.

Re: Anyone know where to get these connectors?

thanks for the link on the terminal supply, but I have to order 100 at a time and have to have a minimum order of 20 bucks, I did a little more searching and found them at radio shack believe it or not,

I defiantly bookmarked terminal supply since im thinking about building these harnesses to sell, all the pre-made upgrade harnesses Ive seen are 14 ga and are pretty expensive. I'm thinking if I buy all the parts in bulk and save more and then sell it for about 20-30% over what I've got in it (it may end up being about the same price as building it yourself since I would save quite a bit buying in bulk) I can simplify the headlight wire upgrade for people and have a high quality harness for a reasonable cost.

I just need to gauge how many people would be interested before I would try to buy that much stuff, I'd hate to be left with 10 wire harnesses nobody wants and be out quite a bit of money

Re: Anyone know where to get these connectors?

I have a Terminal Supply branch close to my house, so I can walk in & they sell me exactly what I need. They have some pretty tricky items available there!

Re: Anyone know where to get these connectors?

yeah, i saw where there was one in cleveland, if i start making quite a few of these, i saw where you could get packard/delphi plugs without leads attached, id like to see which ones match up to the 9005/9006 plugs so i dont have to pull the pins and leads out to attach the 10 ga wire

With cash 4 clunkers over i've been hearing of alot of envoys showing up in junk yards. So when all these people go raid the yards of everything envoy the demand will prolly go up.

Those are called "piggy-back" spade conntectors. allelectronics.com sells all those kind of parts, or you could go to radioshack.

Re: Anyone know where to get these connectors?

Well its a fine line with trying to sell parts here and stepping on the sponsors toes. Management doesn't like it if your telling people to shoot you PMs or making ads for your company unless you giving them a cut. I'm willing to bet if you wanna become a sponsor they would be more than happy to have ya tho.

I was browsing the sponsor area. Is there a link somewhere in here for me to talk to someone about that?

Thanks!

Only suggestion I got is find a mod or admin and give them a hollar. Also get ready for the leg humping kids with your name.

Thanks for the warning

Hope they aren't too mad at my youthful indiscretion with the earlier post...

I have emailed for information on sponsoring.

Don't know why everyone's gettin' tight-assed....she ain't sellin' nothin'!! She offered some expertise to help us out if we need it. There's too many morons here, so why chase away the smart ones??
Anyway, Welcome to the site, TSCPartsGirl!! I go to the Troy, MI branch all the time...not the cheapest, but they got what I need!!

I fail to see anybody getting tight assed. Instead I see you getting butt hurt cause we were telling her to try to become a sponsor so we might actually have one to buy parts from and maybe get a forum discount instead of her just getting banned. I guess you just like the new tend of sponsors that have nothing to do with anything the site is about.

x2, the random sponsors just kind of make me think "wtf are you doing here" sure we might use some of their products once in a while, but vendors like this are the kinds of sponsors we need, and we actually use their products on a regular basis

yeah, I definetely wasnt getting tigh assed...(lol, never heard that btw...) but anyway, I was just kind of saying that to see what kind of reply I could get back, I guess I was just testing the waters to see if it was really spam, but she seems ok,

Hopefully we can get them to be a sponsor and give us a discount...

Ok guys. Here's the deal. I have to run the sponsor idea by the powers that be and I will let you all know how it works out. I am not really a big decision maker here lol

Thanks for the help!!

SWEET! Just remember to tell the boss peoples that, when you mention 10% off on goodies to a group of guys, that just mean we can buy 20% than we had originally though... its simple math...lol
