Go with the Ford. Dodge has had too many problems with transmissions and this design on the hemi motors is only a few years old.

It has a mileage indicator in the cab, that tells you how many MPG it is getting. I have sat in there and watched it, it takes a lot before he sees a drop. I have no idea what he has done, if anything, to improve the mileage. His buddy has the exhaust brake on his Dodge (Identical truck except color), and he says he gets better MPG with his, but I dunno what he has done to his other than the brake.

umm the 45rfe tranny behind the 4.7 and the 5-45rfe behind the hemi and diesel are bullet proof, they have no problems whatsoever and are virtually indestructable, sure the mini-vans and the old tourqueflites had problems, but not the new ones

 to polls sectionbtw i voted for the Dodge, I have drove one on several occasions and it has some serious power for a fullsize truck. The one I drive from time to time is an 03 four door quad cab 4x4 with the hemi. It has every option except for the 20s cause my buddy didn't want them. I would drive one in a heartbeat. They also come with a pretty badass Infinity sound system. |

Get a HEMI just watch your brakes the first few months I don't know if they corrected the problem yet or not but their brakes were too weak for the 20's my bro in law had his replaced twice due to warping
