SD vs FBI
so i was looking at putting a 4 link on my truck sometime soon and bagging it and i was wondering which one would be better.... a SD bolt-on 4 link or an FBI 4 link? ive heard good stuff about them both and also would i be able to do a 4 link and not bag it yet seeing as how it is my daily driver? any help or opinions on this subject would be GREATLY appreciated

fbi is ok on some stuff but most of there customer service reps have no idea about any of the products they sell plus there rude shipping is slow and most of time there out of stock of stuff on and on...SD 95% of stuff is in stock ricky and others are the shit shipping is fast for me A+ SD all the way!

Re: SD vs FBI
FBI has been scamming naive people for years, including many on this forum.
So I pick SD. FBI ranks right up their with AIM on the douchebag companies list. |

Re: SD vs FBI
I want to know who voted for fbi. There are 5 of them. If you perfer their 4 link, explain y. This is what the forum us for. I have the fbi membership(i know it was a mistake". They say members get faster responses, which is bullshit. I messaged them from my account, waited 3 months and never got a reply. Sent one from my personal email and got a reply in a few ours. And theyre not for their customers at all. Lower quality parts and the prices have skyrocketed.

Re: SD vs FBI
I tell anyone that will listen how shitty FBI is. Have been since I got into trucks. made my first order ever with FBI and it was absolutely horrible from beginning to end. Never did get what i actually ordered. I had to get valves instead of my door popper kit because I got tired of hearing bullshit stories after 3 months. Then a few years later I decided to give Jon a chance because he SEEMED like he was trying to change how FBI was doing business but that too was all bullshit. I would rather slam my dick in a sliding glass door while beating my balls with a hammer then order anything from FBI ever again.

Re: SD vs FBI
For shlts and giggles, I checked their site aain, FBI is still scamming people into buying that membership.
What a rip-off.As a Brushed Member, you will be able to log in to our secure website any time, anywhere, and view your Order Status, History, and UPS Tracking Numbers. That's the same stuff most sites do for free. Just check their price too. The membership doen't save you any money, on the parts i just compared, you can buy the same parts for the same prive or cheaper than their "membership price". They just list the non-member price high to trick the naive into believing the membership will save them money. |

Re: SD vs FBI
Only thingI've dealt with FBI on was a few roll pans and taillight fillers...oh, and my shave door kit....but all this was like 3-4 years ago. I've never had any problems with them except that they don't show shipping prices, even during checkout. So when you order you have no idea how they may screw you.
And the taillight fillers, definately Jap shit. I'm not really concerned with "exact" fit since it's welded and bodywork needed anyways, but theirs you'll have to trim, tack, beat with hammer, tack, cut the bitch back off and try again, etc, etc, etc. SD definately has some beefy shit, I just cant afford most of the big stuff. But hell, I cant afford any companies bug stuff, lol. So I say SD. I usually only use them for "parts" (bar ends, etc) and build my own arms, links, etc. But like everyone else already said, their service and shipping is top notch, aswell as their items. |
