Front shocks or no?

Just wondering for those that are AT LEAST bagged up front (if not all the way), are you running front shocks or no? Please vote:

Re: Front shocks or no?

I have shocks only in the rear and my truck ride good. The front looks bouncy with big bumps on the outside but i dont feel them. with 20s i always thought theyd just get in the way. so I say try without and see how you like it. trial and error hehe

I have 2500's up front with the sway bar, 4.3, and no shocks.
With the heavy engine it rides decent. But they always ride better with shocks. As soon as i get arms i'm upgrading to shocks.

What size and brand is everyone running?

Re: Front shocks or no?

I run no shocks up front with slam RE7s and i swear the truck rides better then it did stock. Im sure with shocks would make it ride incredible, but i dont wanna loose turning radius. the smaller the bag the more you will want them and they will make a difference.

Re: Front shocks or no?

def run shocks, i didnt for about 5 months then threw them on over the winter of 06/07 when i bagged the back and last summer it was so amazing to not bounce around everywhere haha

but then again remember, if you dont have shocks, the MTO will pick your truck apart, you have to have shocks as far as i know under the traffic act

oh its entirely doable. people recess the shock in sometimes thats the best way to do it. this guy was just looking for opinions and experiences from people and that is mine: I have no need for them. Everyone has different likes/dislikes though.

Re: Front shocks or no?

shocks all the way, truck wouldn't leave the shop without them, check this site for picking the right shock for your truck, I run sensatracs all way around and its the best shock I believe for running with an adjustable suspension

i didnt loose any turning radius and i didnt do anything fancy like recessing them in or anything

but shocks all the way... i like being able to ride low as hell on the highway and not worry about bouncing and slaming into the ground.
