WIN! About all I listen to is Faction, and listen to his show just about everyday. When I got my new phone the first app I installed was the Sirius app for WinMo so I could listen away from home or the truck...lol.

As for the topic at hand, I have my antenna just run to the corner of the dash, around the speaker cover, and works pretty well here. If I get in real heavily-covered areas from trees hanging over the road and all it can get a little patchy, but it's nowhere near as bad as I thought it was. I'd say I have a good signal with it there 99.7% of the time.

Re: Whos got sirius satellite radio?

i put mine on the roof. not that hard. what are you puting it in. s10/ blazer?? i on my s10 ext.. cab. the dome light is right the were the 3rd brake light it on the out side. i just took apart the two light set ups, and drilled a small hole. if you antenna is like mine the DIN conncetor comes apart and just need a tiny hole to run the wire into. i ran mine from the out side in, above the head liner down the side cover and in to where the xm is mounted. only took about 30 mins to do. i can get pics if you want me to. all you see is the antenna part and no wires. that what i was looking to do. i all so have a bow tie cover over the brake light and just took the drill bit and made a small indent in the bottom where the wire pops out cant evan see it. looks good.

I don't think that's going to happen. There were rumors flying around back in the early parts of this year. They've since merged with Liberty Media and there's been some major changes in the company's finances.

Check these links out (still old, but gives you an idea of what's going on):

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...021700928.html

http://www.fool.com/investing/value/...ankruptcy.aspx

Even if they were to file for bankruptcy, it would likely be a business reorganization, not something that would kill off the product.

I have XM and it depends on the vehicle and the glass area. I have it on the center speaker grill in my wife's G8 and the reception is fine. I had it double side taped to the defrost grill on my 00 Camaro and it worked fine. I didn't find a decent place on the dash in an S truck to make it work and not have it cut out constantly. I keep mine on the roof, usually on the passenger side near the door jamb. I run the wire into the jamb, tuck it under the weather stripping and down the passenger side pillar then under the dash to the tuner box.

I used to have 3 subscriptions for my vehicles then cancelled the one on my summer only ride since the unit took a dump on me. I cut back to the Mostly Music plan since it's like $9.99 a month. The merger pissed me off when I lost my online access to stream. That was a big thing for me to sit on my laptop and listen to music while I surfed. The content went to shit for several months too. They're finally redeeming themselves and it's not too bad. Too bad I hate most of the idiot Sirius DJ's on Hair Nation and Octane.

Re: Whos got sirius satellite radio?

friend of mine at work got one that was "locked" meaning it played with out paying the bill had it in his car for 2 years.

i found one in a trade in at work, had for about 6 months til i got the stuff to play it in my truck. hooked it up and shut off days later

then my friends shut off close to a week later

i love xm sirrus, listen to it all day at work thanks to the new cars that preveiw it on the car before you buy it

Re: Whos got sirius satellite radio?

I have had a subscription for over 3 years and always enjoyed it. The reception is real good in my area and never cuts out. I mainly listen to just a few different stations but I love not having commercials. Mine is direct connected thru my alpine head unit which makes it real easy to control.
