Whos got sirius satellite radio?

Looking at getting it and just want to know who has it and what you like and dont like about it.

I have it and like it. Trees can suck though. I listen to Liquid Metal, Octane, and Faction mostly. Great for trips when you're sick of listening to the same shit on CD's or mp3's.

i have it built into my new 2010 fusion and love it. Has pretty much any kind of music you could think of plus howard stern. I listen to Liquid metal and octane and throw in a few of the rap stations everyonce in awhile

depends on what you like? You a sports guy? I love mike and mike in the morning on ESPN radio. Howard stern is always a good laugh i think but really other than that its strictly music in the morning.

oh yeah I listen to ESPN radio all the time. You got mike and mike in the morning and the herd with colin. Also with sirius you get full NFL season i think. NFL radio and all that jazz is good shit.

i love mine. i have had it since 04 and would not get rid of it.Octane all day long here. it was 12 something but thanks to are gov it just went up to 14 something a month. if you have more then one it gets cut in half

used to have it. Loved it until XM merged with them. Then everything started going to shit. I couldn't find anything I could stand to listen to. So I finally couldn't justify paying the $160 or whatever it was per year for sub-par and boring programming.

I listened to Faction, one of the hip hop stations, Maxim, and a few others. can't remember the name of the others though.

I still have Sirius and probably always will (going on 5 years now). The above statement IS true, though. They're passing on royalty fees (or some shit like that) to the the consumer now, so the monthly fee went from 12.99/mo and 6.99/mo for each additional radio to 14.XX/mo and 8.99/mo each additional radio.

Their customer service has gone down the tubes, too, since the merger. They did pick up some better stations (in my opinion, obviously the above poster doesn't share that opinion) so from a programming standpoint, I feel that it DID improve.

Aside from that, I do like Sirius and as stated, will probably always have it.

EDIT: They also used to allow you to listen online for free if you had a subscription with them. They now charge 2.99/mo to listen online, and that's a HUGE turnoff to me.

Have had it for years, love it. Got it in my truck and at work in our shop. Usually its on Octane, until they play that F'n carless wisper seether song, then its on to Liquid Metal.

I've had my sirius satellite radio for 4 or 5 years now and I'm happy with it. I love listening to the Jason Ellis show on Faction. Octane, shade 45, hip hop nation, the blend, the pulse are some of the other stations I tune in to.

i need to re-new mine, but when i had it, i loved it. i really like octane, faction and alt nation. we listen to classic rewind and classic vinyl at work.

Yes. They merged earlier this year. Channels numbers are a little different on XM vs Sirius, though.

octane, alt nation, highway, and a few other country, and rock stations i always listen to. havent used my ipod in months.

i only pay 77$ a year..

a lot of the stations I listened to got cut was my problem. And then the remaining stations got overly shitty programs. And then it seemed like after the merger they played more commercials for other shows and channels.

also I hated Liquid Metal lol. Whatever it was before that was awesome. I listened to Liquid Metal a few times and it was not that great.

and $2.99 online fee? what?! I didn't have to pay anything for mine. The positive thing was I could hook my laptop up to my stereo for family events and play the country stations for the folks and such. That was a positive about it.

I have both and I seriously am considering ditching them both. Sirius has the NFL, and other than that most of the time I flip around looking for a good song. Might have to break down and buy a mp3 player.

I know its a month or so old but I didnt want to start a new thread.

So where are you guys mounting your antenna's. I'm thinking about picking one of these up for my kenwood soon. I just didnt really want to run the antenna to my roof. Will it work on the dash, or a window?

It'll get the best signal if you put it on the roof, but yes, you can set it on your dash and it'll work.

In my Acura, I had it in the middle of the dash, as close to the windshield as possible. It worked fine.
