Where do you shop for your OEM parts?
Hi guys- What do you recommend for a decent place to get OEM parts online? I've always used gmpartsdirect.com, but am always annoyed by their "discounts" only to then add more than the discount for each part in shipping and handling. West coast would be better for faster shipping, but I'll take any decent shop.

Rock auto...Auto Zone...O'Reilly's. I just search for the best price. I get some decent deals on Fleabay too. Just picked up a marker light for my sis's Cavi, 17 bucks, free shipping, 2-6 day business shipping. Retail would cost me almost 25, but I'd have it tomorrow, but since we aren't in a hurry I didn't bother.

If I'm not in a hurry, always Rockauto for AC Delco and Delphi parts. Oreilly has began carrying them also I think but I'm not sure what their prices are.
But rockauto all the time for best prices. They usually have a 5% discount code going on too if you look around. They're a site sponser. |

I just ordered 8 glow plugs for my duramax from rockauto for $9 a piece, everywhere else wants $16 for the same shit. The injectors I need aren't cheap there though.

Rockauto here too. The only time I go to local stores is when I need cleaners, lubricants, paint, fuses, etc. Little stuff that can't be screwed up.

Re: Where do you shop for your OEM parts?
deffinatly shop around though. i just looked up a set of pistons for my honda, thier only $90, cant get them at any parts house. but the re-ring kit from rock auto is $367 with a few days wait vs $352 from autozone and i can have it next day.
never hursts to mix and match some. just make sure the parts themselves are a quality name, vendor doesnt make much difference imo also, just found a right hand drive rack on rock auto for $69. but the standard reman is just as much, if not more, than a-zone |

Re: Where do you shop for your OEM parts?
Rebuilt my truck's body damage from the first time I had an accident with RockAuto all the way, got a whole pallet of parts dropshipped (Whole front end minus RH fender and wheelwell), got the wrong fan shroud/wheelwell and was told to keep them, new ones showed up less than a week later.
Now I go to them for almost every collision part I need if not almost every part. |
