Re: what? no holiday sales buys?

I got 3 iPads. One for myself and the others as gifts. Ended up with over $200 in giftcards by getting them.

Re: what? no holiday sales buys?

Wish i could catch that kobalt sale. Sounds like a deal. I went ahead and ditched the drill and got some craftman stuff. Ipads were on sale too. Not much of an apple fan though. Always nice to save some cash specially on the kiddos gifts

Re: what? no holiday sales buys?

yea i just didnt see much i absolutely had to have
i did manage to pick up a 14 gun gun cabinet that came with a free pistol cabinet for $169
2TB external drive for $65
32gig thumbdrive for $10
shitload of 9mm ammo
and family guy seasons 5-9 for $8 a piece instead of $30 a piece.
also picked up band of brothers: the pacific bluray ed for $35

majority of it besides the gun cabinet were kinda impulse buys. stuff ive wanted but could easily do without haha. BUT knowing i probably wont find it cheaper elsewhere i decided to buy when i had the chance.

to me lines werent crazy and i walked right in at office max with one other person in the store at 7 am(they opened at 6). was weird. best buy i got my dvd's and went straight to a checkout clerk without waiting at like 8 am. people were relatively friendly courteous, and patient. no shoving or pissed people that i could see... very strange i thought and i was up in the chicagoland area.
