Re: Top Ramen tricks?

Me, I go for two top ramens, cook, drain out all the water, heat up a can of chili w/meat, throw it in the ramen, toss in a big scoop of peanut butter, scoop it out into tortilla shells for some ramen burritos. If I have time I cut up some pickle, beef summer sausage, onion, and a splash of honey. Mix her up and throw her on some tortilla shells.

every time there is a ramen thread, i'm almost certain either a people are liars about the crap they eat and call good or their moms called cambells soup a nice sit down dinner. . .ramen can be good if you doctor it up right, but thats not what these guys are claiming to do. . .

Re: Top Ramen tricks?

when im lazy, ill substitue ramen noodles for spaghetti, and put the sauce on the ramen so i dont have to boil the pasta. the kids can't tell the difference anyways....

ramen noodles are also great for cincinatti chili.

Re: Top Ramen tricks?

I like to buy some chopped beef (like stew beef or something) and brown it in a pan with some peppers and onion. Add some teriaki sauce to it while it's cooking. while those are cooking boil the ramen and drain it. mix it all together, sometimes I'll add some of the beef seasoning to i, just depends. Cost $6> if you have the teriaki sauce already...it's not too expensive even if you don't.

Re: Top Ramen tricks?

You can never go wrong with the cracked egg and some frozen vegetables. It's even better if you use 2 seasoning packets in one soup
