Superbowl National Anthem

Just finished watching it...what a fricking disaster. Why can't they just sing it like it' supposed to be sung, instead of trying to show off their supposed singing abilities? What an embarrassment

I don't even bother turning on the game until they are actually playing. I actually missed the first 20 minutes or so and haven't seen a new commercial yet.

It WAS back in the days of Hulk Hogan, Jake The Snake, Ultimate Warrior, Diamond Dallas Page, Big Boss Man, Undertaker, Road Warriors, Tatonka, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, Ted Dibiase, Hacksaw JD, Junkyard Dog and that cartoon show..etc..but these new fruits..I dunno man. I haven't watched wrestling since the late 80's, maybe early/mid 90's.

Well I wasn't talking about that long ago lol. I was talking like late 90's with Kane, The Undertaker, Stone Cold, The Rock, and The Hardy Boys. That's all I can remember I haven't watched it since before they changed it to WWE.

has the super bowl halftime EVER been entertaining? I've never enjoyed it once. Always some out dated singer that I didn't even give a shit about in the first place.

Re: Superbowl National Anthem

lets see.............
1. this isnt the first time the 49ers have had power issues/delimas in a game
2. its funny how their having their ass's handed to them and "all of a sudden" it happens again?
3. 3/4 of the commercials arent as entertaining as previous years
(either im getting old or the $$$$$ has taken over the entire genre' of the "stupid bowl")

Re: Superbowl National Anthem

lol ive never been into sports much myself. the rare occasion theres a rally race or trophy truck thing going on ill watch it but wont make time to see it.

i just dont get these people who watch every game know every players stats by heart eat breathe sleep it. its like its a game, you knowing or doing any of that stuff wont help them win or loose or whatever.

i hate it mostly because of their disgustingly over paid wages. have they got more talent than me for throwing and catching a ball? yea sure they do. does that talent help society out in ANY way? do they deserve the millions of dollars a game? no.... annoying that people in this world who actually make a difference don't get paid shit.

I dont watch hardly any sports anymore. If i do watch any sports, its to see if who i drew in our nascar pot at work won the race. If that guy wins i get 100 bucks. If the kids arent watching cartoons, i like to watch the braves play baseball.

I understand... I've been trying my best to correct the morons who have been using that phrase incorrectly. If it isnt used correctly it doesn't make any damn sense.

I couldn't agree more. I guess the same can be said for actors and musicians though. I really hate that for 3 days now it seems like all anyone has talked about is the super bowl. No holiday has received that much attention around here even.

Also, I heard this was a lame year for super bowl commercials... and thats all I care about the super bowl for.
