Re: Snap on VS Mac
buy the big dog kobalt box from lowe's. for the money cant go wrong and i always thought it would be cool to have a fridge and cd player in my toolbox also has some led lights on the hood. snap on and mac are out of their mind when it comes to prices. but the guy who can afford it usually has the best of everything.. so yeah, i say go with what you can afford. btw i own a mac box so i vote for mac.

Re: Snap on VS Mac
I wouldn't personally get that if I was working at a dealership though. Might get made fun of. Even though it would be badass to have a fridge. I don't even know why someone would make fun of you for that?

How much was that boc if you don't mind me asking? I'm doing a school program too and it ends soon so maybe this winter I'll save up working full time and get it right when I graduate.

Re: Snap on VS Mac
I'll take pic of what I have but 1 thing for sure its never enough toolboxes
I didn't spend more than $550 on Matco(1) and Craftsman(3), tools in each of my drawer alone is worth than all toolboxes I own. It's easier to focus on tools than toolbox, as long it moves, stores well, useable to your liking.I don't take care of my tool box, I crushed, crash, spilt chemicals(inside and out), works fine as day 1 on both Matco and Craftsman. However, I'm not gonna buy new ones anymore, I'll buy it used from craigslist, local forums since I see a lot good ones for 1/4 of the cost of new with similar condition. So why spend one that's retail of 10G and they say you can get it for 5G if you pay cash when you can get 1 for 1G with some tools? Tool trucks are great for needing certain tool/s if you happen to need one that day and they have it, or something you've been wanting for while otherwise I'm hitting up craigslist/eBay and getting it much cheaper |

Re: Snap on VS Mac
IN the last three moths I have Snapped three extensions and one 1/2 drive socket from Snap on. They have really cut down on the quality of steel they use, but their prices don't reflect it.
