Sadlly,we Americans are to week kneed and soft spined that we'll never have another Boston Tea party,which IMO needs to happen,this is our Governement and I'm sick of Senators like Barney Frank who think government money is his $$ and that its his to throw around.We have a complete lack of accountability in this country,all be it with government and parenting.
I was so pissed at Thanksgiving watching football,the NFL has some project going on about child hood obesity,IMO,parents need to get off their ass limit the kids TV/computer time,send em outside and throw the(insert sport ball here)around,but the problem is parents are the typical American,lazy and wants things spoon fed too them.I meen look at the housing market,what kind of dumbass thinks that just because you can get a loan for a $500,000 house while making $50,000 a year its a good thing to do,I meen come on!

What can be done is what JollyRoger is doing.
What can be done is becoming active in your govt.
What can be done is getting yourself informed and informing others.
What can be done is getting these people together and starting the grass roots campaigns to oust the corrupt and show that we are not willing to be walked all over.

Americans have allowed the govt to walk all over them for far too long and now they think they can do it all they want to the people. There are many nut jobs, black helicopter guys and the likes that are out there. They are going to have to be put up with to get your points across. That is part of the reality of starting something or being part of the start of something. You have to deal with the nutjobs/black helicopter guys to help you promote your stance.

Join up on sites like mine or not. Be part of the sites by posting information and trying to organize things locally through the sites or whatever. Sitting idly by you are doing nothing to help anyone.

If none of this can actually happen... and the Government is not attempting to overtake the private sector, why did they force GMAC into changing from a financial institution into a bank, so they could absorb majority control of the GMAC holdings... which is allowed by the TARP legislation. Those of you who haven't actually read that abomination, I would suggest you do so. In a nutshell, it basically says that if a bank is struggling and on the verge of collapse, the government can absorb the bank, and control it through the treasury dept.
This is happeneing right in front of you, and if you know what to look for, its even on the nightly MSM news, you just have to read between the lines and understand the new legislation that is out there.

Exactly the problem, our parents generation has failed to teach their children to read between the lines. i know me personally, my parents are the exact type of people, keep to themselves they never speak out even at town meetings, they're just happy with there illusion of family. and think things should be left alone. The problem is they didnt teach there children to question things going on. both me and my brother have had to sift threw the piles and piles of crap trying to distinguish the best we can what exactly is going on with this country, between daily lives its hard to keep it one of your top priorities but it has to be done.

one of my main focus's is trying to understand how the united states of America has aloud a group of elitest to control the country's wealth threw a seemingly people backed Federal Reserve, and how they can continue to pass these ludicrous laws about bailout allocations and goverment bank absorbtions.

Again,complete lack of accountability on parents part.I have two boys,13/14,I think south park is nasty,vulger and just not worth the time watching,my boys are typical,they want to watch it because I say its nasty and your not going to.So guess what,I check their computers from time to time,and they know,if I see a south park website link in the files,they get grounded for a day from the computer.Although I dont check on them everday with this,I do frequently,its my job as a parent,make sure they arent harming themselves by smoking/doing drugs and corrupting their minds with crap!Sad thing is,you gotta have a license to drive but not to have kids!

THey have already started implementing that on some sites.

It is not a national tax and never was intended to be that. Some states are now requiring that if you do internet sales you have to collect for their states.
