He was one of the early editor/assistant editors of Minitruckin' magazine( pre Lance days I think ) and got into the import drag racing scene pretty big for a few years. His shop was the first to build a full tube chassis import drag car I think. It was a pretty cool looking Ford Focus and the detail and construction were awesome. I saw it at a NOPI show one year.

He then moved onto building cars for the Drift competitions.
