Yes, that would be the LS2. The SS version might be getting the LS7 too. Or an all Aluminum 6.2L like the New Escalade and Yukon Denali has.

Those videos were shot on the Hot Rod Power Tour, They wiped the drivers side of the motor off each time they unloaded the car, because it seemed to leak oil.

What so great about the Challenger? The fact that it looks exactly like the first one that came out? The fact that there was no thought put into it? The fact that it has no modern design theme to it? The fact that its a ME TOO mustang?

Oh my god. There's no thought put into it? So you like new cars that still look gay, even though they have tons of thought put into it?

The front end on the new Camaro is god awful. Its too pointied and too exaggerated.

The Challenger actually looks LIKE it's old school, muscle car name implies. All of these "new" muscle car throwbacks look almost nothing like their brothers from wayback when. The Challenger looks like it came from 1970 but with a new suspension and everything we've wanted them to bring back.
Old school bodies with new school technology.

It's not supposed to have "modern design themes" you fool. It's supposed to be exactly what it is. An updated 60's/70's Challenger in today's world. IMO, the perfect muscle car.
I just wish they'd do it to the 1970 Chevelle SS.

And a ME TOO mustang? Are you seriously fvckin retarded? You're trying to compare a new Mustang to the Challenger?? Holy fvckin shit. You are retarded.

They have always been 400HP/400TQ, except on the SSR which was 390hp for some reason.

Exactly that, they have no thought put into it, thats why it looks exactly the same as the one that came before it. What kind of thought CAN they put into it?

Quote:

First of all,...the 94-02 had a pointed front end worse than the concept, did you hate those? Well, probably because it wasn't a direct copy of a 69 Camaro.

Quote:

Thats because its a direct copy of the original

Which " muscle cars " are you talking about? You do know that the Mustang and Camaro are Pony cars, not muscle cars. The only throwback retro design there is is the Mustang. The Camaro is a Heritage design, only taking some of the styling cues from the 69' Camaro and incorporating it into a Science and Technology design like the new Caddy's, not a direct copy like the Challenger.

So,.....where is the thought in design you spoke of in your 2nd sentence? Now you are contradicting yourself. Fisrt, there is tons of thought of the design,....now its just a small update to the original? Which is it?

You are god damn right its a ME TOO mustang. Had the mustang gone the the non-retro route, you would never see the Challenger the way you see it now. You would probably never even see a Challenger.

I just looked it up and it said 390...

EDIT* you are right. Stupid websites got it wrong.

For 2005, Chevy boosted the SSR’s performance with the 390-horsepower Corvette engine and made available a Tremec M10 6-speed manual transmission. The all-alloy 6.0-liter engine made the SSR a little lighter on its feet and the 6-speed put a little more spirit into its gait.

Even though chevy.com says 395HP for auto, and 400 for manual.

And yet, you still have no point. That "non thought out" car still looks better than 85% of the vehicles out there with $50million in R&D into it. Whoopty fvcking doo.

Yeah, I do hate those actually. The 98-02 are a little better.

Thats my point again. That's what a lot of people want. When will you understand that?

The Charger for one. And lets not get into the fvcking semantics of it, you nimwit. Read above again, for the purpose of my posts. MOST people that love old cars, whether it be muscle cars, pony cars , or what, they want almost exact replicas from that era with updated suspensions.

Quote:

I aint contradicting shit, you idiot. I didnt say anything about them putting tons of thought into the Challenger design, you illiterate fvckstain. I said, putting tons of thought into OTHER CARS and them still looking like shit.
But of course, you like shitty ass looking cars so what should I expect from your thought processes.

Quote:

Wrong again. Chevy/GM/Detroit was coming up with the retro design before the new "retro" mustang's came out.
PT cruiser, HHR/SSR, Charger, etc....

You're not going to win this argument. The Camaro looks like ass and nothing can change that.

And how much money has this new challenger made DCX? oh right, its just a conpect.

Thats my point again. That's what a lot of people want. When will you understand that? How do you know thats what everyone wants? Are you a mind reader? The car isn't even out yet. Of all the cars that are out now none are direct copies of the original. We'll see how well it sells when and if it comes out in MY 09'

The Charger was a 2 door coupe. The new one out is a 4 door sedan and it doesn't look like the old charger at all.

Well, your opinion is your opinion, but the general public loves the cars with TONS of thought put into them. The HHR is selling extremely well, same with the mustang.

Not all of those cars you mentioned are retro. The HHR(Heritage High Roof) isn't retro, its is a heritage design, the Charger isnt' retro( the original was a 2 door), but i'll give you the PT cruiser, but then again, its not even close to what we are talking about.
Quote:

Im just giving you facts, and you are calling me names and giving your opinions. And in the procces attacking me to win make it seem like you are winning.

Im done "arguing" with you, The Camaro will sell 3:1 over the Challenger. Thats for sure. And that will prove who has the better car.

Whoopty doo, once again. And the Mustang will outsell the Camaro 3:1 as well, does that mean its better?

Thats my point again. That's what a lot of people want. When will you understand that? How do you know thats what everyone wants? Are you a mind reader? The car isn't even out yet. Of all the cars that are out now none are direct copies of the original. We'll see how well it sells when and if it comes out in MY 09'
Wrong, you have no point. And how do I know? Because I've heard a ton of people say it's exactly what they wanted. Holy fvck you're retarded. It's like trying to talk to a retard while he's humping his stuffed doggie.

The Charger was a 2 door coupe. The new one out is a 4 door sedan and it doesn't look like the old charger at all.
Once again, thats my point. Holy fvck....how can you completely miscontrue this so badly?

Quote:
Well, your opinion is your opinion, but the general public loves the cars with TONS of thought put into them. The HHR is selling extremely well, same with the mustang.
No, the public loves "new", "cute" cars. Dodge Caliber, HHR, PT cruiser, Mitsubishi eclipse, honda civic, etc....
Does this mean they are good or that the general public isnt idiotic? No. The masses are stupid and will buy anything with the mob mentality.

Quote:
Not all of those cars you mentioned are retro. The HHR(Heritage High Roof) isn't retro, its is a heritage design, the Charger isnt' retro( the original was a 2 door), but i'll give you the PT cruiser, but then again, its not even close to what we are talking about.
Once again, we can argue semantics all day long. Heritage, retro.

Im just giving you facts, and you are calling me names and giving your opinions. And in the procces attacking me to win make it seem like you are winning.
You arent giving shit except shitty ass spelling and pathetic excuses about shitty cars. Wow, way to go bud!!

Quote:
Im done "arguing" with you, The Camaro will sell 3:1 over the Challenger. Thats for sure. And that will prove who has the better car.
* patiently awaiting more childish name calling from zapnoma *
Well.......bai.
Are you seriously this dense and obtuse to really believe that actual product sold means that it is good?

No fvcking wonder you are trying to argue this with me.....you are one of those people that believes if it sells, it must be good.

I think playschool is back in session, you should be going along now. Bye-bye!
