Ranger tire machine?

Sorry, but this is a ? basically for mechanics/shop owners.... im opening a new shop in a few weeks, and im trying to save a couple bucks on some machinery. I found "Ranger" brand tire changers and balancers on ebay, etc. and they are cheap..... it looks like a decent machine, but im used to my Coats machine, and i dont wanna throw money away. Has anyone used them, had them, etc? Is it a p.o.s.? Ill post the link if anyone wants to see

Re: Ranger tire machine?

yea, thats kinda what i figured.... ive only used coats and hunters myself. The reason i was asking is because i know in certain parts of the country, different brands are popular. I just dont want to waste that much money on a piece of crap....

Re: Ranger tire machine?

you're taking a pretty big risk with it, say it doesn't work out and the thing is a piece or it breaks within the first couple times of using it. What would you do?

thanks a lot! that makes me feel a lot better, cuz im on a strict budget here. It looks very similar to the coats machine i have now, i was just concerned about the quality. How is it with low profiles/run flats? I almost never do run flats tho

Thats the reason a bough it cuz i was low on cash but non the less i say its a pretty good machine for the price!!! lowpros/run flats rarely give me any problems, but in some cases low pro 22's give me a difficult time to change them, but it does get the job done...
