Nice brakes! How do you know where to set the valve? And does that mess with ABS?

Re: Random Picture Thread!

I think you nailed it. Thanks. I knew that, but slipped my mind because of the different bolt patterns. But they do look just like the Dodge spares. Guess they just drilled the ford bolt pattern or ran adapters.

I don't know what the original lug pattern is on that truck, but for a while you could interchange Ford and Dodge wheels.

Re: Random Picture Thread!

I went to my local metal shop today and he had these in there? Some customer made them just because. They were a decent size too.

They both used 5x4.5 for the longest time. Those Dodge steelies are 5x5.5 though.

ford 1/2 ton truck was 5x5.5 from 1954 till 1996. Dodge ram is 5 on 5.5 too.

edit: I see others have replied. mental note taken to read before posting.

Re: Random Picture Thread!

Weren't the wheel hub bores different? Ford wheels would fit on Dodges but Dodge wheels wouldn't fit on Fords.

Re: Random Picture Thread!

Where do you get your patterns from. And do you have some more pics of the ones you did so I can show them to him, I'm sure he would be interested in getting more patterns and seeing other stuff people have done.

Yeah, or vice-versa.
But I concure, those wheels do look like Dodge steel 20" spares.

judging by the damage to that car(assuming it was hit by that truck) it had to have been a high speed collision.

wish we could get a full view of that squirrel launcher in action
