well
SOMEONE HIT MY MAILBOX.....AGAIN!!!!

so, i was in my room, window open enjoying the fresh air and getting ready for bed... heard a crunch, i thought, oh shit, looked outside... saw this girl backed into my mailbox from across the street.

called the police, they came over, talked to me, then talked to her (kinda cute but no pics ), and settled on $30 to replace the box since a new one costs $24 at lowes.....no police report filed (got all her info and driver's license number etc...)

so yeah on to the damage!
pic from my room with my non cell camera...wasnt sure if they would drive off or what, so got it just in case. obviously the people living there dont care about their lawn.... everyone else in my neighborhood does, or at least keeps it half ass decent.


the mailbox..... OUCH! did some crumple damage.... scratches on the right were from the previous encounter and have yet to paint the mailbox due to color decisions/lazyness.


but thanks to the 1/4" plate i welded with a sharp edge, 2 90 lb bags of cement, and buried 3' in the ground, the damage was very minimal to the mailbox post besides a tiny bit of chipped paint. PHEW!

broke the tail light too. if it wasnt for the mailbox corner spreading the impact, that sharp corner would have torn a hole in her trunk.


no idea how she didnt see the LED light up top . kinda feel bad for her, but common, just barely a month after i built it.
so ****, now i get to have 4 hours of sleep tonight .

My uncles box is all threaded pipe with a big like 1/2 inch thick tube with a hatch on the front. Whenever someone clips it, or punk kids with a bat hit it. He just goes out and turns the mailbox on the threads.

friend of mine made me some stuff for my cnc table... torch holder makes it to where the torch stays plumb vs having to make a bunch of adjustments. Name plate was made as a surprise just because

Engine is in the Ramcharger.....now I have a lot of work wiring and plumbing everything. Still need to swap out the headers too, but not sure what I'm going to do since all of the bolts are siezed.



The engine brought the front down a little.


T-case (NP203) shifter...it's full time 4x4, so fully forward is 4-low loc, 4-low, Neutral, 4-hi, 4-hi loc towards the seats. Basically it has a differential in t-case that allows the front/rear to slip unless you put it into loc which is then just like any other 4x4.

meh, i could, but then that mailbox could get bent up possibly...well if it was serious enough. i wouldnt mind having a $24 box take the brunt, yet the 1/4" plate behind it will stop it from doing any more damage

corner got ripped from the 1/4" plate corner. really it kept its shape....had no choice but to

Driving tonight, pissed my DSLR and tripod was not with me.


New color-matched sticker, close enough that I can't tell the difference. Cell phone doesn't capture it, obviously.


Bought this '01 600 super cheap friday night because it didn't run, well, didn't charge the battery (stator). My friend gave me the old stator with it that only had a broken wire at the external connector so I was able to fix it for free. I siliconed the exposed ends on the connectors and loomed it after the picture.


Current stator. It was installed wrong and the flywheel wore through the wiring inside.


Simple fix.


I washed some of my toys today and got a bad case of the sun burns along with it.

no doubt, thats the best feeling. once I got a turbo II rx with a "blown motor" for 250 bucks. he drove it to my house! turns out the cold start butterflies were stuck shut, that was the fastest car I have ever owned.

Correct on the miller and I was cutting freehand before my buddy came over. I had already removed the clamping brackets on the cnc. So when the new holder went on, I just put the torch in there to make sure everything fit.

well i got a new weekend job working at a shop called heavy metal customs. they mainly do diesel upgrades and lifts.here is a 5 window cab he is restoring. i have been stripping the paint on it





a 12 valve cummins that im going to start tearing down and rebuilding the engine. he burned a piston.
