That was last week. Was actually 107-110*. I was working in direct sunlight, all day, on fresh blacktop detailing cars. I guess it just made it that much hotter.

my dad was supposed to go and see zz top with me on saturday but he bailed cuz it was pretty hot out... i wanted to see a few bands on saturday but i wasnt really in the mood after he didnt show

I traded my '99 Astro van and trailer in on this:

Which ended up being a pile of dog crap. Bought it mothers day weekend. Drove it/worked out of it 5 times at most. Was in the shop the rest of the time up until last weekend, when I traded it back in on the Silverado.
Rearend went out twice within a week. Just a pain in the ass, so I got out of it before my first payment was due...... Lost money, but at least it's gone!!!

picked up a wheelbarrow from a buddy. he was throwing it away because the axle "broke". tightened up and adjusted the brackets and its good as new

le mailbox post. still need to paint the actual box. also need to run a wire/led to the box so the numbers can light up on it.

still thinking about a silver timing set....

test fitted on a piece of scrap, but i modded a light up post cap to fit.

In the end this little project turned out better than expected.

my mom came over to say hi/see finished mailbox.

yeah i need to cap it off, i did get a cap for it. a clearly labeled 4x4 post cap. well APPARENTLY wooden "4x4" posts are 3 3/4" OD....not 4x4" so the damn cap didn't fit

I have the forum setup on 100 per page. but if someone were to whore their pics in one post, it would be easier to view, but i get what you are saying on page size.

And then me on there with him. He ended up sliding toward the rear the whole time and couldn't get back up so when the boat stopped I pulled him off into the water with me.
