The true Eleanor didn't have those wheels:

The tacky ricer Eleanor had that style, not the OG Eleaner. And that style wheel existed way before PS Engineering made the wheels used on Riceanor.

I like both Eleanors just as equally. Although Mach 1 in that color would be nice to drool over in my driveway lol

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

Lol, groomed Golden Retriever

Papa Murphy's bubble

The harmonic balancer exploded on my Silverado up at Powercruise a few weeks ago. 120mph down the straightaway and it let go, it only had around 4k miles on it. Time to go SFI I think. Didn't wreck anything else, truck just overheated immediately when the water pump wasn't turning. This happened on the first day (Friday) on my first time out on the track for the weekend.

A few minutes later, as I'm being towed off the track, my friend goes by puffing major smoke. I really thought his truck was on fire and burning to the ground. He stopped and the thing was engulfed in white smoke. It's a Dakota R/T with rear mount turbo and he ended up melting pistons 7&8, also on his first time out of the track.

With an awesome amount of talent and luck (everything coming together just right) he lined up another engine from a friend who was already planning on coming to the track for the weekend. Got it delivered right to the truck where we were working on it near the camp site. We all had our basic hand tools that we brought along and rented a hoist from the general rental place in town. This was all 2 hrs from home btw. I pulled up an empty car trailer for "just in case" and the worst case scenario happened. The trailer still went home empty though! The engine blew up at 3pm on Friday and the replacement was in and running at 4pm on Saturday.

On the way home, another friend cooked an ignition coil in his truck, so we put my brother's car on the trailer and swapped the coil into the truck.

The hot/cold door in my Blazer has been stuck on the hot setting for a year now. It sucks with no A/C and black leather. Tried to fix it before Camp N Drag but I still couldn't get to it. I need to remove the entire HVAC box from the firewall in order to access the actuator.

Had to fix a bumper bracket too, plastic on the inside of the cover broke off and the bumper cover was waving to everyone I drove by.

A vendor at work did his yearly visit. Last year he drove a Bentley.

I think I could take him from a roll on the highway.

Ready to go to Indiana.

Friend's supercharged 5.3l '82 Monte on the way down.

Rusty's '59 Chevy Wagon, drove down too.

Camp n Drag is near an Amish town.

I never get sick of seeing this truck.

Another successful 1,200 mile round trip in this thing. Averaged 25mpg.

^---- awesome!

Bought my first fish tank (fresh water)... Decided on a lobster and I'm not sure what the little ones are called, but they were cool looking.

Worked OT this morning at a "bike rodeo" for kids. One of the vendors brought out a bunch of neat bikes.

way harder to ride than the one after this pic

and my favorite... seriously going to look into making/buying one of these

My friends family always had Bronco II's when we were growing up. I can't tell you how many times we had those things on two wheels when going around corners too damn fast. I've always liked them too but they are gutless that's for sure.

My buddy in high school had one, we were ****ing stupid in that thing. Going out to lunch (open lunch at my school) with 8 people crammed into it. Getting on 2 wheels turning into the parking lot and other stupid things. He managed to cram 14 people into it once....

That sounds entirely too familiar. lol

Ended up going to see Leon Russell the other weekend at the RenCen...

Twas a great show.

Some river front pics...

The pokey...

The new pokey that was being built but then they decided it was over budget so they abandoned it....

Model of the city inside the RenCen...

No lie, there was a nut hair and some chip crumbs inside too.

Pretty sweet old school hand painted sign that still survives today...

I want to go to detriot at some point. Maybe a 4 day weekend type deal. Would love to see all of the old manufacturing facilities and maybe check out the few assembly plants that are still there and the surrounding areas. Worry more about being at the wrong place at the wrong time than anything.

Bought the B2. Paid $1500 and the guy towed it to my house (tires are junk and didn't feel like driving an hour each way to get it.) first thing I did was remove the running boards and bug guard.

I had a bronco II and it was the weirdest handling, laid back suspension, tippiest thing I ever owned. If it wasnt tipping over sideways it was tipping over backwards. neat design though.

Plans for now are to clean it up and drive it while I do maintenance on my Ranger. Drive it through the winter and then who knows. I need to finish my F100, after that ideally I'll have a space to build a chassis and slam the b2.

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

Did some target practice today. Sighted in my rifle at 50/200 yards. not too bad of a group on factory bulk ammo.

Finally bought a table from academy sports. shooting from the tailgate sucked.

then it got dark quick, so i lit up the target with my flashlight, and went back 200 yards.

i could make out the target, but the mosquitoes were after me. so did 8 quick shots (1 sec apart) and honestly its not too bad considering i was rushing. i need to try again when its daylight out. honestly i just need to ditch this cheap scope and actually invest in a good one.

I went up that tower two years ago on vacation. I have some NSFW pics with the seal statue that was there, lol, jk. That beach area in the state park thing that was just up the road? Like I said, its been two years since I was there so my memory isn't the greatest. Hell it may have not been a seal statue even, I can't find the pic of me mounting it

PS, sorry about your grandma

Just be careful with the double doors through them (the big box stores). They tend to not use continuous sills when they do double units, or units with sidelights. So your RO will be screwy, and they tend to just not be as strong as a continuous unit.
