Huh. Would you look at that!!

Just went and put a deposit on the truck. Bringing the rest tomorrow, and getting the title. It'll be in my driveway Thursday or Friday!! This truck is so clean! I was originally gonna use it as a winter vehicle so my 97 doesn't have to see sand and salt anymore. But I'm not so sure I can do that. I may have to buy another winter beater before next winter.

Got some more of the mud off the truck. Still need to hit the underside with the pressure washer, but I'll do that at a car wash. Biotch to get the mud off lol. Going to get all of the big stuff off and go have it detailed.

worked on my master shower some more, finally. Just need to seal it now and it'll be ready

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

^ the key to getting the mud off is water flow, not so much pressure needed.

I have a gas pressure washer, yet i still rarely use it for my truck when i go wheeling. I generally soak the underside with water and spray it off with a heavy flow of water and flush the frame out. You are lucky you dont have to deal with a ton of clay like we have down here in oklahoma.

I have seen people up here just turn a sprinkler on underneath and let it soak for a while. Then to the car wash or use a pressure washer.

It's pretty gnarly stuff, didn't realize it had so many rocks in it till I started washing it off It's quite a bit of clay too.

Staying in a relationship? Haven't exactly "excelled" at the one by any means haha. In all fairness, I grew up in my parents construction business, building higher end custom homes, so I'm familiar with various trades. Add in the artistic influence when I make things and voila. It's definitely not something that has happened over night. Some of it's talent, but a lot of it is years and years of experience of figuring out what works, what doesn't, etc. I appreciate the compliment tho

It's a blessing and a curse knowing the construction stuff. It's nice in that I can do stuff myself and it'll turn out how I want and doesn't cost a lot. Down side is I know how to do it and don't really let other people work on my stuff because I want it done a particular way. So it takes me longer to finish projects sometimes because I don't always have the time. So it's a bit of a trade off sometimes.

Finally got the boat out to clean it up and polish it. It was a party barge, been stretched about 3 foot, upgraded from a 85hp evenrude to a 225hp mercury, added a short middle pontoon, all the chrome, complete new deck with all new seating, speakers, ect..

And my blazer

the extra length and high polished toons definitely makes it look a little out of place.

Going Custom was presented this American Flag, flown in Iraq, and coin from the 293rd MP Company, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division out of Ft. Stewart, GA. This was to say thank you for the dog tags we made as a retirement gift for a retiring Sergeant. We are greatly appreciative to receive such an honor.

That's awesome. Are you going to make a badass shadow box to house the flag.?I have the wife grandfathers flags off a ship from the war on display at home in wooden shadow boxes my father made. If you take them out you can still smell smoke from the war. If you make boxes be sure to get UV resistant glass to protect the color.

That's really neat! This one has been washed before it was folded from what I was told. And yes, definitely going to be making a shadow box for it. Thanks for the tip on the uv glass, hadn't thought about that.

Barney chased something under the trailer and then couldn't figure out how to get back out. I almost had to teach him how to crawl.

Dad's awesome battery install in mom's trailblazer. It's been like this for months. That's the + terminal...

After pointing it out and wondering how he can be so stupid, this was the quick fix that he came up with.

Next time I went back he now wrapped the bar with an old inner tube.

Obnoxious moron with hid lights and two HUGE led bars IN THE DAY TIME. One across the grille and the other above the windshield. Was a lifted NNBS Silverado hauling a nice Lancer. "Just had to be seen."

Bought some much needed extensions, one of them is a wobble, can't wait to get to use it when putting my transmission back in.

my brother's driveway is 4 years old, professionally done concrete. Apparantly the concrete from the supplier is a POS though. Snow finally thawed and left all these surprises of popping up cement. This is two dust pans worth. Normally, this should never happen.
