When I used to work for Saturn, there was a guy who had a RHD SL2, and he always would come in looking for parts, then get pissed when I didn't have them in stock. Really dude? Shit used to piss me off.

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

Jordan, looks like they just weld a plate onto the drivers frame rail over the indent that the stock LHD steering box fits in for the Pittman arm to mount to. That seem right? Then on the passenger side what did they do, just drill 2 new holes for the RHD steering box, using one of the existing LHD Pittman arm holes?

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

My new '05 FS has the typical problem. Sent it in today to get all fixed up and Denali conversion with trans temp.

Mom's car broke down today. I went with dad to bring it home. Took 30 seconds under the hood to see what happened. The fuel pressure regulator crapped out, spit gas through the vacuum line and into the intake, flooding it out. It was just replaced in August. Warranty!

Inside of the intake (gas)

Video of dumping it out.

Garage pic at my new place, I moved in with my brother.

That reminds me, I really need a center console for my new truck. It has a permanent mounted back rest in the middle that doesnt even fold down.

Damn, that sucks. You can find plenty of consoles at Johns. The only thing that sucks, is putting a console between seats that are the 3 peice bench, because you loose inner armrests . Unless you do a full seat swap.

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

Well right now I have no arm rests. The middle is totally open and boring. It's a work truck but only lacking carpet, center console and nice wheels. I plan on upgrading it all.

Went out to the trails to check them out even though they were mostly dry. i tried to avoid mud since i was just scouting the trails. there are some paths that look horrible but in fact they are passable. the water made them look worse than what we think. so now next time when it rains we can take calculated risks instead of guessing how deep the hole is

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

bean dip you need to fab up some sway bar disconnects so you can get some more flex out of the front end.

Re: Post random stuff from cellphone cameras: Part II

Yeah i should have looked at the front end. but i was thinking about getting rid of the sway bar anyways, i like how smooth the ride is. once i put new rubber bushings the ride quality up front went to shit imo. for daily i may loosen the end links so they dont rattle, but allow the front end to do whatever it wants.

at the same time I've read that the xcab trucks dont gain a whole lot from doing this. since there is a lack of weight out back. even so, wont allowing the front end to flex more possibly cause the CV axle to bind if it flexes too much?

Lips are clearcoated on the Ridlers. It works out for me since it's my daily driver and sees a lot of crap on the back roads I drive. They're also machined and not polished. I didn't know that till I got them.

no it will still be in the range of the ifs, the bump stops will keep in from flexing too much.

Any tips/info on how to fab these up? Now that mine is lifted I would like to be able to disconnect it and gain more flex

Oh yeah I forgot about bump stops. Which reminds me I need to get new ones. Mine are shot. I was debating on a 1.5" torsion bar crank too. Need to find out the stock height for the Z.

bad day... guy has wheel spacers and it looked like the wheel shop tightened the lug nuts too tight against the spacer. 3 out of the 5 broke off.

on the bike unit at work now, practicing riding up stairs
