I had my nipples pierced but one grew back when I spent the night in jail, and the other grew back in the hospital. I got my last name on my right arm and the confederate flag on my left shoulder. I drew up a tat with all my family's name in it and want to get it done sometime, when I get some money.

depends on what I am doing. for the most part you skin is stronger and more resiliant that anyone gives it credit for. I have take 4 ga hooks, suspended for an hour, got done and pulled for a while and then gone back to suspending later that evening. the craziest part is when you come "down" so to speak. you touch ground again, and you slowly put weight on you feet. No, it's just the industry. I have piercings and tattoos, in some industries, it just isn't acceptable. Try going into a a bank or insurance firm and getting a job with sleeves and huge gauges in your ears... They'd laugh at you.

the telecommunications industry isn't very forgiving. The higher ups are old school. they don't like the fact that i have peircings and tattoos...but they deal with it because i am good at what i do...also i deal with customers, vendors, and contractors...they have not complained once, or thought i was less of a professional for having stretched ears or tattoos.

Awesome man. I put some serious thought into that, but I don't think I could tolerate it. I watched a taboo show on nat geo about suspending, and it showed a couple people nervous as hell, and I think I would be one of those that would start shaking and sweating. haha

I think it'd be awesome to be able to do that, and like you said to slowly put weight back on your feet...that's probably the best part.

when it time to do it I am like a dog about to get a rack of ribs. Its about the only time were I can actually focus on whats going on. getting ready to go up, I dont have the daily bullshit and mud in my head. its kinda of clearing, I stay up until I am "made" to get down or I get bored. yes I do get bored with two 4 ga hooks in my back lol.

on the job note, I do 3d design and modeling in a billion dollar a year company. currently working on my engineering degree, and already getting some job offers. my resume sells me, not my 1/2 septum or my 0 ga ears ( I say 0 ears cause for being at 1/2" for over 5 years my ears will not go to anything smaller. so its like having 0's in all the time without having to wear anything in them. its kinda cool, no plugs to keep up with)

haha I hear ya man. I've had lots of piercings over the past several years, and there for a time I was always wanting to get one somewhere. I for some odd reason liked the pain, and the rush I got from getting pierced.

The only two I didn't care for that much was when I had both nipples done, and a random upper inner cartlidge on my ear. It was the first time my wife's cousin (the piercer) had done a piercing like that, and it actually took her a couple minutes to get it through, after bending the needle and wiggling it through. At one point I left out of the piercing room and went to sit on the couch, and she came in there to finish it after I told her not to worry about it since it was hurting so bad. I'll have to see if I have a picture of when I had it to show what i'm trying to explain.

As far as two 4g hooks going into my back, I don't think I'd be able to do it, especially after watching that taboo show. How would you describe the pain on a 1-10 scale of the hooks goin through, and then the process of putting your weight on the hooks?

That would be my biggest fear to stop me from suspending... it's one thing to get pierced with a 14g needle, but a 4g through pinched skin...holy hell.

well, in retrospect your asking some one who get pierced with 6 ga and stretched to 4 ga by hooks what the pain factor it. you have to remember I do it cause I want to. for me a pain factor or 5 might be a 11teen for the next person. as far how bad does it hurt, i will explain it like this to kind of relate:

you had your cartledge done. it sucked due to the area and the person doing it. well, I had a fellow needle slinger custom bend a indutrial bar that was slaved to my tragus. passed through my conch, went north behind my ear, made an S bend and exit'd around the helix area. it was then slaved to my rook. it took 6 (move alignment) cartledge piercings in the same ear over the course of 45 min. now this, was while wrenching this bar around in my tissue : ). I had it in for months till the x and I were wrestling around and she grabbed it by accident. after that it started to heal like shit. I had to cut it with wire cutters to get it out.

again to give you my level of tolerance. my tat covers the intire left side of my body (think about it!!!) yes both sac and shaft match the rest of the ink

also being a piercer I had to be able to do it to myself (if you can do it to yourself other people should be easy right) so , I did my own 8ga p.a. and my own 8 ga door knocker.

so, to ask me how much it hurt is kind of unfair....only thing I can tell you on the hooks. see it in person, go from there. its a mind over matter thing. past civilizations have been doing it with crude a lees than sterile conditions for hundreds of years.

it is like anything you do for the first time, you never know what the outcome may be. be it welding, sexing, skydiving, driving.

the first time is always a rollercoaster of emotions, as trivial as it may be think of the the first of some of the things you have done.

so yes, I was nevious the first time I took hooks. the first time I suspended too. it was like me puckering my lips up and some one on the other end swinging a sledge hammer into them....hahaha

Yeah I'm sure you can tolerate the pain, and I know for some people the tolerance is different, but I was just wondering how far up you'd scale it. I guess that would be kind of a stupid question to ask you considering the tattoos and piercings you have... didn't know about those. I could never tat/pierce my junk. haha
