That's ****ing gross. The "white shit" is dead skin cells. You should be taking your jewellery out and cleaning it out daily, more so if you work in a dirty industry.

Anyone else at 1/2"+ lobes taken them right out to let them heal up? Mine are stinging like hell, like they've been stung by a wasp. I talked to my piercer and she said she's never heard of anything like it. I'm assuming it's because of how fast they're shrinking down and healing, sorta like how a scab itches.

Just wondering if anyone else had this happen..

when i had my 9/16" I left them out for two or three weeks, and it shrunk down to a 0. It didn't hurt at all when they shrank. I'm at 5/8" now, and I can leave them out for a couple of days and I don't feel a thing.

where do you all buy your plugs n stuff? i looked around a few diff. places on the net and stuff and everyone seems to have the same stuff, just different prices.

I like support my local tattoo shop so i tell them what i want and they get it for me. Its probably the most exspensive of the options.

Then you got bmeshop,ebay, the many wholesale sites that sell to the tattoo shops. But be careful with ebay, theres some cheap shit on there.

Well, I have found a few good sites..but so far I just go to this store called Cosmic Fish....they have a lot of good stuff. But when I get my holes bigger I plan on getting a set or two from http://www.onetribe.nu/ and then this site has a pretty large selection http://www.bodyartforms.com/

I used to tapers to 1/2", three sizes up from where you are. My piercer had tapers up to 1".

I'd recommend using tapers, otherwise you're gonna migrate the holes down, and have a bigger chance of blowouts.

Yeah, if I hadn't of taken my piercings out, I was gonna have one of the smaller machine shops make me a set up to 2" outta stainless. Doesn't have to be surgical grade since it isn't staying in.

It's probably cheaper to do that then buy a taper set online.
