my roomate posted an add on craigslist using my e-mail adress (i check mine alot more than he checks his) and he was WTB a 1st gen s10 and said specificly "i am looking for an s10 an s15 or a sonoma no blazers or jimmys or other trucks and no 4x4s...." and he had 3 replys... one guess what? a 4x4 s10 "the 4x4 dont work" had another guy trying to sell him a mitsubishi mighty max and he had another guy trying to sell him a 2001 s10 for $475 with no engine or trans(no problem) but when we asked the guy if the motor mounts were cut out or what ever he stoped replying to us....

Just because they're a pothead doesn't necessarily mean that not going to take care of their ride(s). I had a few pothead friends that had pretty nice trucks, actually. Hell, just look at Toad's ride

Haha that's funny. When I put mine on, I got several stupid replys. To my suprise, of course, because in the post I specifically said, "Will only trade for 77-87 fullsize shortbed 2wd chevy truck, or muscle car. NO FORDS."

1) "That's worth $1" I said, "Thanks."
2) "Will you trade for my 2 4 wheelers?" I said, "No, I can't drive them to work or school."
3) "Will you trade for my 88 celebrity?" I said, "Absolutely not"

i wasnt saying he didnt take care of it cause he was a pot head... i dont even think he did the damage to the truck he told me that he baught it as a project truck so the motor was probly allready focked

I don't see how you think they are the dumb ones, they are just trying to reach more people with what they are trying to get rid off. They know damn well it's not what you were asking for, but they are hoping you my consider their offer or pass it on to someone who will (in fact you even said you'd may be interested if you could handle 2 projects).

that usualy means no friggin 4x4s and no other trucks.....

yeah i would take the mighty max so i could slap a 302 in it and beat the crap out of it but like i said i dont have the resources to take on 2 projectes rite now hell i got 2 trucks that are in a storage shed that i havent been able to get to in almost a year so what would i do with the mighty max?

Its an older guy who has a love for s series and camaros. I never had any problem dealing with the guy when I talked to him if its the same guy, but I wouldn't buy that one.. haha

I can point out exactly why people are sending you other stuff:

i am looking for an s10 an s15 or a sonoma no blazers or jimmys or other trucks and no 4x4s....
it dosent need to run and the body dosent need to be in good condition..... the only thing i am asking is it needs a strong strait and mostly rust free frame
i dont have a prefrence so anything from 82-2003 is cool with me
i plan to build a low buck airbagged s10 out of it not a v8 hotrod so it needs an engine and

i will considder any trucks that are showed to me ugly or not i do my own body work so if the body is trashed it isnt really a problem

im not looking to spend much fore than $500 and would like to have it cheaper than $500....
