Our weekend at Pismo Dunes, tons of pics!
We left Friday afternoon at about 5:00, 7 vehicles, with 3 bagged trucks, an 04 Sierra on 20s, a 94 GMC Sierra on 20s and a 91 S10. It was about a 5 hour drive there, everything went smoothly on the trip there. Then we got to the entrance, it was all rutted up and Joeys 91 S10 got stuck in the sand. My friend and I in his big Dodge Ram V10 pulled him out with ease. We found a camp spot and soon as we got there the 94 Sierra blew an airline from being close to the exhaust. That was a fun fix trying to find a coupler fitting to repair the small hole. Once everything was organized we had a great weekend. Lots of bad ass trucks and sand rails there. Well last night on the way home was where we had the worst trouble. The 91 s10 got hot on the big steep hill on 101 and melted the airlines for the front bags. It melted 3 holes in the air line, it took about 3 hours to fix since it melted it right where the irline goes into the upper shock hole. We had about a 7 hour trip home. But all in all it was fun. Feel free to ask about any of the wierd shit in the pictures.

1. i know i would get stuck with the 2.2 2. sand + salt water = very bad 3. i cant see myself with a dirtbike in the back and driving "normaly" |

This thing, it was HUGE, it had a big rig motor with 18 speed tranny, monster truck tires. It went up the hills with ease. |
