Opinions on this s10?
http://www.arkautosales.com/vehicled...?VID=149344438
The mileage is about 117k, I would try and shoot for $3k. Thanks in advance for opinions, and suggestions! |

Re: Opinions on this s10?
Looks pretty good. I think 3000-3500 is the highest they'd ever get for it though honestly. 3k might be a decent price. is there anything wrong with the paint on the fender well of the bed?

Re: Opinions on this s10?
i was going to say something about the passenger fenderwell....looks to be rust maybe?
if the interior isnt torn up i'd say go for it. just all depends on what your plans are for that truck. |

Re: Opinions on this s10?
yeah, looks like it has some bubbling around the wheel well, definitely something I would look at a lot closer..plans for the truck are simple, daily that I might lift up a little bit, simple and clean. thanks for the input so far!

Both the posibility of rust and apparent lack of interior photos makes me nervous too.

Re: Opinions on this s10?
I'd hold out for a newer model. I own both versions of second gens and '00 up are my personal favorites. That is pretty expensive for a '96 too.

Re: Opinions on this s10?
i wouldnt pay more than 1500 to be honest, low miles but doesnt list the mileage?
if the fenders are bubbling up it's a only a matter of time before the cab corners rot all the way out also idk if the door is open or what but this looks weird to me

I agree with them. Expensive for it's age, rust is definitely starting.
My 1999 Bravada will be posted today for $3,500. |

Re: Opinions on this s10?
^3500 is cheap, would sell for 5-6 clean down here.
IMO 2000 is my favorite year, on the 2.2 there is no EGR and no smog pump, so its a win win. 4.3 i'd try avoid that smog pump crap. |

Re: Opinions on this s10?
That's ridiculous. you can find mint condition low mileage 4.3 with 5 speed (or auto) zq8's cheaper than that. Crew cab s10's don't even sell for 10k anymore. |

Yeah that s10 is a bit high for $9K....but then again it looks really clean and well kept. which would be worth it IMO.

Re: Opinions on this s10?
The 1996 S-10 you posted is way overpriced (as everyone else has pointed out). It looks decent, as far as the body goes, but should be more in the $1500 - $2000 range, tops.
The 2003 you posted is a VERY nice truck!! I see it only has 41,XXX miles, and looks brand new on the inside. One of the better S-Series I have seen in a while (especially for being 10 years old). However, almost $10k is high!! If you could get them talked down on the price, it would be an amazing truck to have. You might have better luck checking private party sellers. Dealerships are typically going to be quite a bit higher on their prices than a private seller will be. Plus, a private seller would also be more inclined to negotiate on the price.....typically speaking. |

Re: Opinions on this s10?
That '03 looks to be in amazing condition, with extremely low miles. If the seller will come down on the price a bit, I would definitely try to get it. If not, no big deal. Just be patient, one will come along. Luckily, there are LOTS of s-10s out there!! |

That sucks man. It was a nice truck, but it was a bit over priced though. Like I said before, there are a lot of S-series trucks out there. You will find one! |
