just heard about that on the news. it'd be nice to hope they'd get what they deserve, but being juveniles, they likely won't. poor kid's gonna be in the hospital for months and who knows how ****ed up he'll look when he gets out. real damn shame. likely the parents are to blame. they most often are.

people need to get rid of this assumption. . .when a violent crime occurs, it's becoming rarer that teenage suspects are charged as juveniles. . .now this happened in florida, they don't mess around down there. . .i think they have the youngest person currently on death row. . .florida is not bothered by charging "kids" as adults |

ya the vid says a 7 y/o charged as an adult... those kids have a look about them like they are defiant and i think schools them selves need to open there eyes and see what kinda groups are lingering say at lunch or passing periods.

they need to stop that shit with kids getting off easy because they are underage. Thats why there ****in fearless. They know there gonna get off light.. Try them all as adults, and put em up against the death penalty. Make examples out of them. Its not like they are going to amount to anything in society anyway.

 I can only assume it's just a universal thing. It may 'seem' that this stuff happens more often, but I bet it's happening at the same frequency it always has. Only difference now is the internet. Today I can hear about let's say 5 bad stories a year that happen in all different places just on this forum alone. Say back in 1992 before the internet was huge I may not even hear about any one of them, maybe one if I'm lucky and it made it to my towns newspaper/news station. to an extent i think you're right. . .reports have shown that as a whole, violent crimes have been on a decline in the US since like 1994 or so. . .i think that our perception is really skewed by the amount of information we have access to nowadays. . .unless a crime was so appalling that it warranted getting national attention, we used to to only hear about the crimes that happened regionally or locally. . .hell back in the early 90's there was really only CNN as far as 24 hour news coverage was concerned, and national news was ABC's world news tonight. . .it was alot more difficult to learn about something that occurred on the other side of the country. . .today even with basic cable you got 4 mainstream 24 hour news stations that have national coverage, and so many internet sites dedicated to news you can get news coverage from any part of the world at any time of the day. . .so yeah, these things seem to happen more often than they used to. . .however, i do believe that parenting has gone to shit over the past decade or so |

Something like this happened where I live to. This girl we know has a little brother that gets picked on all the time by some of the older kids in his middle school. The kids that pick on him went over to his house and tried to set it on fire. The cops were called but the kids got off becuase the cops said that the her little brother was provoking the older kids....

Thats bullshit.. Our justice system is so ****ing weak at times. My long time best friend has a brother, who is a less than desirable person.. Has ALWAYS been in trouble with the law his whole life.. Last year he was arrested on federal terrorism charges or something.. Cant remember what the exact chargers were, But from what my buddy said, it was teh FBI that came and got him, But He was board, so him and his friends were lighting molotov cocktails and throwing them at houses. There was apparantly a kid who he was going to legit burn his house down, And they were supposedly Practicing on other people's houses so they would get it right the first time on this kids house. Luckily nobody was hurt or anything.. But the sad part.. Dude only got 4 months for it. When i heard about it, i thought for sure he was doing at least 3 years. 4 ****ing months.. Made me sick.. I see him at the gas station last week and him and his thug friends were buying blunt wraps, and talking about stomping some dudes head in.. like getting seriously all pumped up for it.. and i just shook my head in disgust.. and thought to myself "some day he will get whats coming to him" |
