Not when there is text specifically stating what you get when you "donate" and the price.....since there are tangible items it will be a little easier.

Right, I understand. I would probably word it as "buying a premium membership" or something because that's what it is. There are free members, then there are premium members who pay for perks. Every site I've been on calls it "donation" though, because it's voluntary and not required to use the site.

see i had no problem giving john money. he was active on the forum and i had a good feeling the money went to the forum.

now i just don't know. the new owners are not on and active on the site, and if i donate, who knows where the money will go. i doubt it will go to further improve the site. will prob. go to some other random site i know nothing about. bleh!

Kinda off topic but not,we/us our usernames are now owned by a corporation,all they care about is the bottom line,IE traffic too the site. Wanna wake them up,make a strike thread,no one visites the site at all for 1 week,that will wake them up. But hey I'm not a donating member so I only help out with the flow of traffic.
IMO,it wouldnt be bad if the ads were for things we use,like LMC truck,Summit racing,Belltech etc but no its crap like ebay!!
BTW,some ads fail!
