Re: New Owners Introduction

New Smiles is easy and I can put the in control of the other mods if need be.

Multi quote button, ya... I was wondering why it wasnt there. I will add that.

As for weather or not it was Johns decision? Im not really sure, we generally give the former owners an option to stay on and continually work with the community but im not sure how this contract went down so it wouldnt really be my place to say what the details were.

Admin,I have a question,I posted a ad last week, and in my paypal account it still says that that $$ is unclaimed.Should I cancel the payment?Or maybe John should claim it?Whomever,I dont feel right about cancealing the payment, consider it a very small donation !
Just tell me what to do.
I wish you luck in this venture! I kinda feel as if the site will be less personal now though,John was 1 on 1,you guys are a corperation, that is not as 1 on 1,but hope it all goes well.
Are we a comperation... technically we are a company and have a lot of sites, BUT Evil twins media was just like us only on a different scale.

The Admins will still be the same as well as the mods. I will pop my head in every day to see whats going on. You wont see me in every thread as I dont have the time, But you can certainly get me via PM.

Any chance that DM's will be able to upload larger (file size) avatars?

The 150x150 dimensional perk is awesome, but it's really tough to compress a quality photo under 10kb at that pixel width/height.

Congrats on the new job man. I know how hard it is to find a job right now, my wife was laid off a year and a half ago.

Re: New Owners Introduction

Welcome Stew. I don't know if it's something you're doing to the CSS right now, but all of the avatars are left justified when they used to be centered. One thing I would like to see changed is the ability for users to edit their own posts. I know it's currently set for 5 or 10 minutes. As an admin and a mod of other forums, I know that I would go nuts if I had users contacting me all the time to edit posts for them when it's easily changed in the admincp. Thanks for reading.

I'm quite glad that asshat has no power anymore. People like him don't belong in a position of power. i dont mind at all going back and editing peoples post.. i do it all the time for them...i think its a good idea to keep it set the way it is..it keeps people from going back on there word so to speak..

and the avatars have been that way for a few weeks...its nothing new

why are us donating members seeing ads on top of the forum? and i think this should be made a sticky at the top of the OT section. Otherwise, welcome aboard
