My aunts and uncles need your prayers

2 of my cousins died in a car wreck last night. If you can find it in your heart, please say a little prayer for them. I have posted a link from their local news. They live in Denver, NC.

Re: My aunts and uncles need your prayers

Their family gets my sympathy, but only for the loss of family.

Your cousins are morons.

Correction, WERE morons.

Re: My aunts and uncles need your prayers

I really dont know how it all went down, and I agree, my cousin Brandon was being stipud. They moved up to NC about 10 years ago and I had only spoken to them via cell phone ever since my dad passed away. They sent me a text message today saying I needed to call up there something bad happened.

Re: My aunts and uncles need your prayers

As "stupid" as he was for doing 125 MPH. It's part of being young and stupid. I'm sure the majority of people on this forum have personally driven a vehicle over 125MPH. Unfortunately he can not learn from his mistake.

And even if you haven't driven over 125MPH there are plenty of other things that are dangerous going on within this community. I would be willing to bet the majority of modded trucks on this forum are unsafe to be on the road and the owners feel there is no problem.

for example.

hacked up suspension
seats not bolted in
gas tanks bungie corded to the frame with no bed
the list can go on and on.

we all do stupid things... especially when we are young. Driving 125 MPH in an area that seems pretty rural is not something that crazy, In some cars it's easy to get to 125 pretty quick. It was a poor decision and he paid the ultimate price but I think some people are being hypocritical.

It was a Mustang that he got a couple months ago. He and 2 of his brothers were pretty big into the whole Mustang scene. I dont remember what year it was and the last mod I was told about him doing was having his brother Doug weld a new exhaust on, I am sure he had done more to it since then though.
