Somebody message that guy and ask if he braced the cab before chopping the roof off the cab.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

I guess the guy with the blue truck can now give up. He wasn't the first LOL.

Btw, if the truck as all of the windows installed and is now painted, why not post THOSE pics? Why post it unfinished? Something smells fishy.

Perhaps you've heard of it? They refer to it as "The nature of the beast".

I say crack pipe either way. I don't see a blazer that old being worth close to $6k no matter how clean. But that's just me.

Aside from the gawdiness the car is actually pretty cool. I don't recall seeing any postless 4 doors like that.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

A lot of GMs of that era were. The best looking ones were the old Buicks like the '72 Centurion
If the car was stock it would be a nice ride.

Wow! Really?! I had no idea! But seriously. You're not telling me anything I don't already know. For the record the word any* was meant to be many*. Thanks though.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

Sorry, I read it as any. Not everyone cares about the old full-sized cars so I didn't know if you had seen them. I have met people who had never seen some of the styling cues of older GMs (or at least never noticed them) like the 4-dr hardtop or the clamshell tailgate on the wagons. Wasn't trying to be rude or anything about it.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

One thing that really gets me on craigslist is wheels. I am so sick of reading "They 5 lug so they universal" or seeing a single bolt pattern wheel that says "fits s10 blazer; I just took them off my ranger." I've taken a couple times to ask people bolt patterns on wheels I would consider buying only to get the response "5 lug". One time, I asked for a bolt pattern and the guy sent me a picture of the wheel center. In turn, I asked for a measurement and he asked if I could tell by the picture.

This one really irked me so I texted it for fun...

15" offset Rims - $350 (lexington)

4 15" offset Rims
asking $350
I'm open to trades

----------------------------------------------------------

Me: What's the offset on the rims for sale?
Idiot: 5 lug
Me: Do you know what offset is?
Idiot: Not really lol selling for my brother.

5 lug, because the same wheels from a Neon will fit an old Power Wagon.
