Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

At what point in time did those become rallies, or is my definition of"rally wheel" wrong?

I'm sure there's some people that figure all stock wheels are rally wheels.

Kind of like the people that figure all non steel wheels are "mag wheels"

Not ridiculous, but going to check this out in a couple of hours. May be back in the S-10 game soon.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

Ahelm, I'd try to talk them down on that one especially if it has many miles at all.
Doesn't seem like a real steal compared to a lot of craigslist ads I look at down here. Heck I'll sell you my 98 extended cab for that price.

70k. And its on my way home from work. Plan on talking him down a bit. The body would have to be almost spotless.

Although, if it falls through, I may be PMing you haha

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

Yeah, for an essentially base model single cab regular bed, that's on the high end of prices. It looks pretty clean regardless, but would definitely talk him down a bit.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

Whoops, you're right. Even still, I don't think I've seen a single cab S10 sell for more than $2k lately. Only clean ones with no rust up north have a chance at that.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

It's a short bed. And a complete waste of time!

Sure, it was rust free, but the body was beat to hell and back. Dude said it had 70k on it. Fired it up, and was pushing 200k.

"Double DIN TV"? From the way it's "mounted", maybe they actually were using it as a TV... in their laundry room.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

Clean truck, but $6400? Really? For a 2.2 5 speed with 191k miles... The formatting makes me want to punch a wall, too. KBB value on the thing is only $3k with the ZQ8 package in good condition.
