The car may "[run] like a champ", but he's a chump to have invested over $10k in it and expect that as a return. Although someone will most likely come along and be a bigger chump and buy it.

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist volume II

i got a kick out of this when i searched "projects"

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/mpo/4317521988.html

What's up with these junk "winter project moped"
Some dufous thinks they can ask the world for these junker winter project mopeds been advertising for at least 6 months now. nobody wants your junk man! Every single one of them isn't something anyone would pick out of the trash let alone pay for. Guess the'll soon be advertised as spring projects then summer project and winter projects again. Junk them if you want money for your crap.

i think he was talking about this one.

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/4280641931.html

this is a used 1970'S Pacer moped. Engine is locked up, no rear wheel, lots of good usable parts. No title

or this one

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/4334122678.html

this is a 1985 general TE moped. the engine is locked up. Moped would be good to rebuild or use for parts. No title.

or this one

http://newjersey.craigslist.org/mcy/4347793582.html

This is a 1989 Trac moped for parts or to restore. Has many usable parts. There is no engine or title.

The guy's kind of an idiot because those things have quite the cult following. Mopeds, scooters, and all that shit have become quite popular over the past few years, especially the vintage stuff.
