Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist
You live in Illinois, and correct me if I'm wrong, it's pretty flat there and there aren't a whole lot of people, correct? A good amount of your post is self-inflating bs, you're talking out your ass about your specific part of the country, and assuming that what is true for you applies to everyone. It doesn't. I drove a brand new 2008 Aveo at a GM Test Drive in motion, it's a piece of shit. ![]() Fit, finish, handling, power, comfort, everything on it was crappy. Why did you bring that and other slow ass shitty cars up? I know there are alot of cars slower than 0-60 in 16sec. And the reason cars are getting more power and heavier is 1. It sells 2. There's more safety/luxury shit in cars so the cars get heavier and need more power to move 3. Big fat american ****s like being tricked into a false sense of comfort/power, which is mostly thanks to marketing 4.Some people drive in places where it's not safe(to you or other drivers) to drive 50mph on a freeway, or you have to accelerate faster than a shitbox you mentioned. |

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist
you only need about 10 hp to stay at a constant speed (granted theres no major wind)a cop wont give you a ticket the second you merge onto the interstate and not going the same speed.... why do you think there's these things called MERGE LANES on interstates to let traffic pick up speed then merge (least in theory, retards dont get that concept of speed up then join traffic not merge then speed up ) most merge lanes yea theres a "s" twist in it but can usualyl take them at 45mph, so then u have a straightaway to at least get up to 60-65 then merge (limit around me and neighboring states is 65-70) most people who have slow accelerating cars know their not going to be able to pull out in a said gap in traffic so they wait till a larger gap appears. I drive around peoria on a daily basis and its got 183,000+ ppl. have never had an issue with driving around even in rush hour. (most of the time sitting at a red light...) ![]() 2: buncha useless crap nowadays but yes it its true 3: agree with you on that one, main reason why the 100lb chick is driving the 3 ton tahoe with one kid. 4: once again once your going it doesnt matter what engine you have. if you drive smart and stay in the right lanes and be near other cars going the same speeds then theres no problems. only time there's problems when the idiot in the BMW cuts accross 3 lanes to pass doing 90. |

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist
![]() Thanks for update on the obvious. You entirely missed the point, and I now think you don't have the mental capacity to understand something that is DIFFERENT that what you have experienced in your life, you have not said you have ever been here, have any real idea of what I'm talking about or have even considered there might be something you don't know about. Something as simple as 'well there's alot of room on the merging lanes here' is idiotic, because you have not been here to see something different(like short merging lanes?!?!?! NO!!!), and are displaying the inability to realize that. Half of your post doesn't really have to do with anything and is mindless dribble of obvious facts. I can see it's not worth continuing because an actual discussion about power in cars with someone has the inability to consider ideas separate from their own is not going to work. I'm not going to waste me time trying to cure your thick-headedness. ![]() |

Re: Most Ridiculous finds on Craigslist
I found this kinda funny. two free toilets (costa mesa) Date: 2010-03-02, 4:06PM PST Reply to: sale-tqxjm-1625666399@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Two fully functional toilets for anyone who wants them. I am remodeling the house I just bought and I'm bringing in new toilets. These two toilets do work - I tested them before I took them out. First come first serve. Thanks
