Yeah, it does work, but the effects wear off if you keep taking it (like for 2 months).

Supplements can help you get past a plateau, but they become a crutch for some. I used to be REALLY into them, but realized that I didn't need them. My strength levels didn't decrease without them and I'm able to spend my money on "essential" supplements like a good multi-vitamin, BCAAs, etc.

Also, be careful on the bench. Having a previous shoulder injury will make you more prone to flat barbell bench press injuries. Guys that have been lifting longer than me will also vouch for this. Plus, flat bench press injuries are probably the most common injuries in weight lifting. IMO, stay away if possible

Ive done a few NO supplements,, The thing i don't get about noxplode is why they mix NO and caffeine together. A vasodialater and a vasoconstricter. Ya it is a cardio accelerator but with the constricting of your veins it puts a lot of stress on the heart. Plus like any other creatine suppliment once your off your cycle you lose most of that size. Also if you take a diuretic right before a comp or something you need to lean out you will lose a lot of that water in your muscles.

I always do dumbbell bench because your humeral head is not a perfect sphere, and when you put your arms in a closed pack position you put a lot of stress on the labrum.

i lift as much as i can when i get the chance, here are some old pictures, pics are bad, one without the hat im 19, with the hat im 20-21..im 22 6'2 230 right now, in the pics probably 210 or so...keep it up man, just keep lifting..

I never liked caffeine with NO products. I always take 1/2 the recommended dose and get the same feeling. When I took a full dose, I always got light headed and felt like crap. I got the pumps, but wasn't feeling all that good.

i'm 235 right now at around 16%bf(rough guess) after christmas i'll be dieting down to 8-12% but i hope to gain a few more lbs before then, i wanna be about 230 at 10%

well i get to do legs and core today! fun...... i won't be able to walk when i get done!

still gaining weight, just about the same weight as last friday. around 142-143.

I got a question. I have been lifting pretty steady 3 times a week and have been gaining a lot of muscle. The thing which sucks is I am getting strech marks right where my pecs meet my pit. Is there anyway to get rid of those. They arent totally visiable, but in a cut off and I put my arm out to like 90 deg, you can see them. Just wondering if anyone else has them or knows how to get rid of them

there is a few things like oils and lotions that are supposed to help. are you gaining alot of fat with the muscle? thats the only time i ever got strech marks, but i did have friends who got them without fat gain. if you are gaining fat too then cut out some calories from your diet. if not then you could look up some of the lotions and creams, or cut back on the wieghts a bit and hit up a little more cardio. also how old are you? i had friends who got strech marks there just from growing in general.

sounds like you do to much chest and not enough of everything else! if you slowly build everything you won't get strtch marks. now if you hit the gym 3-4 times a week and work only your chest. yea it will get big but you will also stretch the skin too fast.

what does your workout look like.

as long as we are posting pictures.
Im not that cut/ and or big right here because i was training for a marathon. My friends are always saying wouldn't you be more cut when you run that much,, but ive found out that my bodies catabolic affects when running are huge,,estimating i lost 10lbs muscle and gained that much fat when i trained for that damn thing that i never did.... ... my damn knees

i know what you mean, running any more then 4 miles does little for you imo. i have a friend who is training for a marathon on sep11th and he cant figure out why he isnt losing any more weight and his abbs arent showing.
you look to be in great shape though, and you look to have decent size especially for your structure. and your not so ripped is about the same if not a little better then i have ever been... damn genetics

well as of right now i have gained 4lbs and i am starting on my 3 week of my 2nd month. and my 3 week of eating ALOT!

i have gained 4lbs and lost 4% body fat! i don't know how i lost the fat since i have been eating like a horse, and eating anything and everything i want!

1 month and 1 week left and i will post before and after pics.

im only 5' 8/9'',, 150 8.5% bodyfat, in the pic i had 15'' biceps, and now im at 15 3/4 which doesn't seem like much but i feel like i look a lot bigger. I bet that animal stack is helping out a lot in leaning out, plus i know the m-stack has a anti-catabolic complex. I believe that their other stacks contain that as well. Good luck with getting bigger,, im kind of stuck because im taking summer classes over here and they are closing the gym for 3 weeks. So i think im going to try and reach higher levels of glycogen composition.. Last time i focused on this i bulked up and had twice as much energy throughout the day. I will achieve this by strictly running and eating ridiculous amounts of carbohydrates, including consuming a lot of fruit juices, and a lot of water.

I decided to start my bulk early. I got 600g of brown rice made up in a pot, sitting in the fridge, ready to be consumed in the next two days

My plan will be something like this for a typical workout day (these are estimates and would be optimal times):

5:30am: Workout (5-10g of BCAAs in water, sipping throughout the workout)
6:30: 2 scoops of Waxy Maize and 10-15g of BCAAs (Creatine optional)
6:50: 2 scoops of Dextrose along with 40-50g of whey hydrosylate
7:45: 1 cup of brown rice and 4oz of chicken or beef and veggies
10:00: 10g of BCAAs
11:00: 1 cup of brown rice and 4oz of chicken or beef and veggies
12:00: 10g of BCAAs
2:00: 1 cup of brown rice and 4oz of chicken or beef and veggies
5:00: 1 cup or a bit less of brown rice and 4 oz of chicken or beef and veggies
7:00: Chicken or beef and LOTS of veggies to fill me up
Before bedtime: 50g of Casein protein (once I order it)

I have been eating low calories for quite a while now, so I don't want to jump into a super high calorie diet right away. I'm hoping my body will respond with an extra 500 calories more than I'm taking in right now. Within a week or two, the 1 cup will be 1 and 1/2 cups of rice and hopefully up to 2 cups. The protein will go up, also. I don't have much time to eat at work, so any leftovers will be eaten when I get home from work (usually around 6pm or so)

no your not, these freaks can actually get away with this!! oh well, a buddy of mine is like that and he's always giving me shit and tell me that "the women love it when he takes his shirt off" i tell him he has to take his shirt off cause he cant fill it out

that's funny!!!!

i started getting some belly fat from eating so much. but it is slowly going away. i dunno how....... i don't do any cardio. the only thing i could call cardio is my workout since i take small breaks and keep my heart rate up.

but as far as lunch and snacks go this week:

i got fried rice with eggs in it roughly 2 cups per day
around 4oz of steak daily ( doesn't sound like a lot but that is roughly 35g of protein.)
a serving of either corn, or broccoli
and for snacks i got a protein bar with 21g in a bar, and i drink an equate brand weight loss drink with it. the drink has 220 cals, and 10g of protein. so both once a day will give me an extra 31g protein, and 410 cals. not bad for a small snack. i may eat that twice a day if i can...

What do you put on your steak? Do you just eat it dry? Or do you eat in with all of the other stuff you mentioned above? I can't eat dry and cold steak if my life depended on it.

i eat my lunch with everything listed above. but i do put steak seasoning on it when i grill it. it is a garlic steak season and it is GOOD! but i fix me a plate and throw it in the microwave at work and go to town! the broccoli and corn is in those green giant "just for me" serving sizes. which they aren't that big, but it gives me some vegtables with my protein and carbs.

Gotcha!

I don't get to heat up my food, so I need to put ketchup or Lawry's seasoning on my food to choke it down.

For documentation purposes:

182 pounds an hour after breakfast (8 egg whites, 1 cup of rice, 1 yolk).

Saturday was the day I came down with the stomach flu, ended up getting really sick and blacked out twice in the bathroom, which ended up with a swollen face and a small gash in my head. My gf's mom is a nurse and she said I could get stitches, but not totally necessary.

I start at around 141 in the morning before eating. end up around 143-144 by bed time. at the end of this week i should be around 142-143 in the morning before breakfast.

what kind of steak do you eat.. You should try to stick to top-round,,, it has the best protein to fat ratio.. The only problem is its tough as hell. Also when you say fried rice do you use white rice. When im trying to stack even though im consuming crazy amounts of rice i try to stay with wild rice,, or even brow rice.

Not sure if you were talking to me, but I have about 5 pounds of Eye of Round for this week because they were out of Top Round. Eye of Round is a bit easier to get down while working (no microwave available) so that is why I prefer it.

As for rice, I get the long grain brown rice.

i am using top round also. i just cook it alittle under done, and it's pink, so when i heat it up it's not as tough. i use white rice, and add eggs, butter, and soy sauce. the soy sauce is the only salt i get through the day so it's not really that bad for me. i use the long grain enriched rice.

do you think i should use brown rice instead?

I know some people eat white rice just to get the calories in, so I would assume (from their statements) that you can eat more without getting filled up.

alot of people say that but right now i eat enough to make me sick of eating! but i am wanting to gain weight and i have to eat alot to do it.

gonna do back and bi's tomorrow gonna see what i can do on deadlifts. been doing them for ( this will be ) my third week. i am pretty sure i can start at 135 two sets six times, then 185 six times, and end with 225 six times. if i can do that i will be happy. which means my max should be around 300 or so. give or take 20 pounds.

yeah, but lifting is fun, and cardio is very nonfun. so you have it better off, plus girls still like small guys who are lean, not many girls like big guys who have no cuts.

then again, it's all in what we like, i like to build and have mass, i'd like to lean out more, but i'm pretty happy with what i have, and thats really what matters is liking what you have.

EDIT: i'm not calling you small, i mean in general.

these charts are pretty accurate, working wieght is on the left count over how many reps to your max. they are usually within 10 lbsof what your max will be.

hitting the gym today and doing legs! my buddy is gonna try and see what i can do on squats. so we are shooting for 245+ or so. he thinks i can do it. i am gonna try and not kill myself!

I did legs today too. The most neglected and in my opinion the most important group of muscles. Plus nothing comes close to the feeling you get when your body is rushed with the amount of testosterone produced during the workout.

well i did descent i guess. 245 is my max i didn't get it up without help but..... i tried it after i did 2 sets of 6 @ 135, 1 set of 6 @ 185, and 1 set of 4 @ 225.

I know i can get 245 up now though. but DAMN, my legs where killing me last night, and tomorrow they will be worse! lol

but it is a good pain!
