This information is about a month and a half old, but it made me think how damaging a false rape claim can be...these kids were sitting in jail because they chose to participate in a gang bang with a female student. Initially I laughed but seriously, this could have ruined their lives. A simple search suggests this has become an increasingly common tactic employed by women in recent decades.


This brings me to my S10Forum question: Has anyone ever been falsely accused of rape or sexual assault?

Stuff like this scares me. I mean, if a girl says rape. How can they prove her right or disprove her. Those men were lucky they had evidence, but if you don't, then you might serve time and get a sex offender name just because some girl said you did. When its only her word against yours, she is probably going to win.

a buddy of mine who is 18, is on probabtion till trial which is on monday, becuase a friend of his and him tag teamed this girl. (for what ever reason) and they are lookin at jail time and he promises me they dident rape her, it was all good till her boyfirend found out then she said it was rape. good way to **** there lifes up, il let you guys know monday what they get.

I was like 16 and made out with a chick and she was getting all into and shit so we were fooling around no sex just like second base stuff and it was like the second time we ever met so that was all we did and then the next day my buddy was like "that chick said you raped her" he knew I didn't because he was there. But it's a weird feeling when they are all into whatever you are doing at the moment and then they say something totally false and people believe it. Nobody believed her after multiple people called her out but I never saw her ass again.

Was having an argument with an ex over the phone during one of my DJ nights, and she had let it slip out that I hit her. I just about jumped over the phone lines and chewed her up and spit her out over it. Not only was it completely and utterly false, but the fact that if someone had heard that and done something about it, I could have been sent to jail.

The problem I have seen as I have been reading these stories is that most people accused are overwhelmingly males, know the person making the allegations, and are all considered to be guilty until proven innocent.

Another thing that seems to pop out is that regardless of the outcome of an allegation, its already out there. In some situations, its like a claim of being raped is equivalent to a conviction. I mean, look at these kids. Do you think that they will get fair treatment in the future?

I think for as much as college campus's, the military, and other places where young women are taught about the dangers of sexual assault (which does happen) that there needs to be an EQUAL amount of time dedicated to young males on how to protect themselves from any type of sexual misconduct allegations. Things to include could be not messing around with other guys girlfriends, not sleeping with questionably intoxicated girls, or girls who just seem downright crazy.

I agree that there needs to be more solid and harsh punishments for any person filing a false claim that directly or indirectly ruins a person's character. Nowhere in the article did I notice that the DA was seeking retribution for the obvious lie of rape. Hopefully these kids sue the pants of her (pun intended) in civil court.

One of the reasons I'm glad I put myself on lockdown almost 5 1/2 years ago. I don't trust their species other than my wife/daughter or own blood relatives. My buddy who I've known for 10 years since I moved here knocked up a 16/17 year old 3 1/2 years ago. He was 19 at the time and he's damn lucky she didn't call rape which she tried doing(she's a fvcking PSYCHO!). He was banging her since she was 15...fvckin idiot.
