Help with an email....

Well I work for an Institute that works with people with disabilities of all ranges. One of my co-workers is a real bitch sometimes and is from Mexico and is constantly ripping the US. Well earlier today another co-worker sent a link to a youtube video and shared it with my department. Well the woman I spoke of replied to everyone with a pretty douche response IMO. Here is the video about devices that allow people that have communication problem to communicate with these devices. Well she replied to the video with this response
Quote:
Very creative. Two things came to my mind, first does the creator know about copyright issues? and second, the AAC devices presented cost between $5000 and $8000, so much for the freedom and the justice of those who can't afford them.
Now am I over reacting to this response and should let it be or should I respond and put her in her place?

Video if you care to watch...

I say lambaste her and maybe even get a recording of here bashing the once great USA and pass it on to a manager, and say that her talk makes for a hostile work environment. That usually gets HR in a twist as that can lead to lawsuits.

Or do the second first about the hostile work environment and leave the video email alone.

Or tell her that since the US isnt the greatest to get her @ss back to Mexico.

Re: Help with an email....

if that is the entire response, then that's not really a douche response. . .you just don't like it, because you already have a problem with her. . .could it have been worded a little bit more polite, yeah, probably. . .but, the thought behind it would have been the same, and you probably would have still thought she was out of line. . .so yes, i think you're overreacting to this. . .however, if she honestly does make for a hostile work environment on what she says, then you should probably have already gone to a supervisor and mentioned it, if it was that bad. . .
