Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
i'd like to see my boy kellen moore from boise st. get it, but boise get's screwed out of everything. . .if that kid keenum from houston keeps going the way he is, it should be his trophy hands down. . .

Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
Anyone but Tebow..... I can't stand him.... I know nobody on my favorite team PSU has a chance but I think Jimmy Clausen from Notre Dame has a good chance if he keeps putting up the numbers he has been, even though the competition he faced hasn't been the greatest yet.

Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
.... rarely defensive players get the recognition of even receiving votes for the heisman.... it takes a real special defensive player... Charles Woodson in 1997 was the last defensive player to win and he was also a receiverhttp://www.nationalchamps.net/NCAA/h...hy_winners.htm... heres a list of the past winners... you can see players on defense have a very slim to none chance |

Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
Tate Forcier has been surpising as a freshman. But I think either Tyrod Taylor from VT, Jacory Harris from MU, or Taylor Potts from TTU. Potts may not be known very well but he played his damn heart out against Texas and he deserved that win he threw for something like 80 passes.

Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
My vote would have to be for Colt McCoy, and well, it was. Of the nominees I'd say it's between Colt McCoy, Jordon Shipley, and Tim Tebow. Maybe... and this is a big maybe, Case Keenum. Thing with Tebow is, it'll be interesting to see how he does the rest of the year following that concussion.

Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
I think we will see how well Colt does against Oklahoma. Texas' biggest game this year so far was TTU
I do think Colt is good but I think there are better out there. It will be a great game for sure! |

In my opinion, anyone but Tim Teabag. I am a bit partial though being an FSU alumni and long time Nole fan, lol.

Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
with as strong as the running game in florida has been this season, tebow's numbers aren't up to par with being the heisman winner. . .his qb rating is great, but he just doesn't have the yards or tds this season to really even be in the discussion. . .

Re: Heisman Trophy 2009
i still go with my first 2 picks from a month ago, kellen moore and case keenum's numbers are 2 of the best in college football. . .after that, i'd say it's clausen or mccoys trophy to steal from my 2 front runners
