you are obviously doing something wrong. I spend quite a bit of time working on things to do with either of the trucks. Between the sonoma, sierra and her 77 F100 there's always something to do. Not to mention we have our awesome 10 month old daughter. I basically take my cell phone with me when i go downstairs to the garage. When does she text or call me? If she has gracie asleep and needs a new bottle made, otherwise, I'm pretty much just working on what I want to. so you have got to be doing something wrong. Granted I'm sure that all the countless little things I do around the house makes her life that much easier (dishes, vacumn, fill formula mixers up etc.) but still, we are both 2 very independent people. And good lord, the whole lifestyle thing? Come'on, thats pathetic man.

seriously, like most have said, spend time with your girl.. me and my ex fought a lot over the whole truck thing, and i didn't even spend THAT much time on it.. mostly while she was working etc... she just hated that i chose a show over a vacation.

In all honesty, its not that bad to balance a girl and the truck. I told the girls i'm dating(yes PLURAL) that friday night i'm at my garage and i'll be back sat night. Am i 100% serious with either, no, but i do treat them quite well.. weeknights and sat nights they usually have all the time they want with me... hence why i get sucked into watching desperate house wives sunday nights ARG... but its what keeps them happy.

Its all about balance man... I know ive fuct up before when it comes to this and honestly, if the right girl came along, id have no problems selling my truck for money for a ring/house/whatever... in the end, no matter what, its just a truck, if you can't see past that, you need to re-evaluate your life
