Best way to store a vehicle outside in the snow?

Well as the title goes, at some point in time im gonna have to park my chevette outside all year round. Ive retired it from snow as the salt has done major noticeable issues to it and rather not have to replace parts again...(it will be parked on white rock) or let it rust even more.

That point will be when i get my Model AA frame/cab/sheetmetal home I do not want that sitting outside (mostly so i can work on it on concrete not dirt or gravel in the rain/snow) even tho its sat outside for the last 60 years, its had its fair share of outside time.

So what would you guys recommend for kinda weatherproofing it?

well it was originally designed for keeping water out of things. . .hell, when it looks like sub freezing temps are coming, i spray inside my door locks, haven't had a frozen lock assembly since

if you're just looking for to keep it out of the snow and ice for the winter, and you don't plan on doing any work to it, i'd suggest finding a storage facility like sixfeathers and bill suggested. . .you can usually find a place that offers winter storage for cars, or you can go to a regular storage facility and see about renting one large enough to hold the chevette. . .alot of the ustore its and places like that will allow you to store a vehicle in a regular unit if you drain the fuel from it, which you should be doing anyways if you're going to let it sit all winter. . .

My buddy put his on a cement slab, with a tarp under it. He put it up on jackstands, and put a car cover on it with a tarp covering the sides too.

yea thats what im thinkin... we do have a patio in the backyard that seldom gets used and hardly at all in the winter so it would be perfect.
