aim ad in mini truckin

I know this has been discussed but I was just looking at the new mini truckin and saw the shame ad.I remeber the tread about how the copied the sd ad basically but this time I looked at the ad and noticed how they put in the ad under the arms (thorebecke sells for 349$)like they are the same arms from a supplier or something .Then they bash the sd bolt on kit ,also saying sd sells that some kit that aim shows ?...wow they are gettin ballsy This company sucks ass .sorry if this is a repost if so please delete but these guys are just lame .hopefully all the e-mail bombs you all sent last time sent a messg over there .srry had to let that out

Re: aim ad in mini truckin

But seriously, why hasn't someone made a hate website of these guys. FYI, www.****aimindustries.com is open. I'd start one, but I don't know how to make a website.

Re: aim ad in mini truckin

air ride tech has been suing shAIM for years over the same bullsh!t. SD is just the newest company that joe morrow feels is a threat to them so he reverts to his usual defamatory ads.

Re: aim ad in mini truckin

I called them up tried to talk to them about there add and would go all around the question. I was like so why does your guys add look so similar to the suicide doors add? He said theres really only a few ways to advertise control arms. Then he started asking me how long I have been around the scene and how old I was. Told me that I was probbably just jealous because I didn't have enough money to buy them anyways. And then he claimed that a tig weld wasn't as strong as a mig weld and there was no need to tig them because it wasnt aluminum.
He also wanted to be very clear that they do millions in sales when other companies only do hundreds of thousands. And they have more adds in minitruckin than suicidedoors. He got the shitty attitude right when I asked why there add looked so similar to another company, I bet it wasnt there first phone call like that

Re: aim ad in mini truckin

we should ALL send in letters to mini truckin sayin we want to see an article comparing the products and customer service from their advertisers (and then hint that it should be mostly between SD ART and shAIM) and then hopefully they do it and its finally out in the open for people to see how $hitty shAIMs products are

LOL. That would never happen, todays magazines are never objectionable, never say ANYTHING but good things about companies, especially companies that advertise in their pages. Its just economics. Thats why i dont subscribe to many magazines. Everything is the exact same. Never gives any drawbacks to a product or company, just its good points. Even the "buyers guides" that some produce are just huge advertising sections. No hard reviews or anything like that. Thats why AIM is still in business, because magazines make money through advertising, not subscriptions, they dont have to worry about a magazine saying anything bad about them.

haha these i made back when there was a HUGE anti shAIM movement on here...they even had employees come on here to try and harass us and i think Doug showed proof that they werent the first air strut patent holder but they kept trying to screw him out of it by lying...and of course they ripped off the pic of the truck with suicide doors...it belongs to a guy in Jersey who got it from the original owner in FL

Re: aim ad in mini truckin

That's a whole lot of horseshit. I don't have and didn't have any Sd.com stuff on my truck but I can tell you that I did appreciate the work those guys did. It's said that shAIM had to stoop to such low levels, I really hope that SD.com's stuff speaks for itself like it should.

The magazines know not to bite the hands that feed them.

There must have been a lot of complaints that went unreported. That is a really high number for any company.
