Re: 7'4" 14 year old.

1) I think it's messed up they're letting him play middle school football.

2) He probably won't live that long, and if he does, he'll probably lead a miserable life with plenty of health problems. I mean crap, he's already got arthritis.

Re: 7'4" 14 year old.

damn, i actually feel bad for him with all the medical problems. I think its cool though that they let him play, fair or not. He just wants to feel normal like his friends, and its a confidence booster for him!

x2.

they said he hasnt even played yet, and he said he cant run anymore. so he's pretty much just a part of the time, not so much an actual player.

Re: 7'4" 14 year old.

^^^agreed. the kid has enough problems with standing out as it is, no reason to boot him to another team away from all his peers. his medical problems have already gotten to him, it's only gonna get worse. poor kid.

Re: 7'4" 14 year old.

Damn...that's a big kid. Sucks about the health problems he's having/gonna have in the near future as well. I was always the taller kid in my class but I don't really remember being the butt of any jokes or anything. Hell, when I lived in VA when we went to Busch Gardens I was the only one that could ride the big people roller coasters, and I was 6 or so at the time.

Re: 7'4" 14 year old.

my mom actually recorded the oprah episode, and showed it to me a few days after it aired...pretty cool they are letting him participate, and have that confidence, instead of just turning him away.

My bad, I meant to say I was the short round kid. I was the same size I am now back in middle school.

I didn't even need to click the link to know who you were talking about. I saw him on some show about giants on TLC.

Re: 7'4" 14 year old.

Awesome to let him play football with friends, it's not like he's going to jump every 5 yard or walking on other players lol.

Hope he get's laid, he'll need couple sluts to fit him

Definitely sucks to have a lot of medical problems.

X2 Let the kid try to be as normal as possible right now.

I can only imagine the pain that kid is going to go thru as he gets older. He already can't run, has bad joint pain, etc. I can relate to that shit, i was 6'7 250lbs at 13, My joints are shot i feel like a old man, i can't run/jog at all, already had back, knee, and ankle surgery. Being tall at a young age is not fun at all.
